wait????? why does a lot of chinese netizens don't seem to like liu hao cun????
Because her parents owed a girl compensation for nearly 6 years, the girl had no money for surgery and became paralyzed, lying in bed for the rest of her life. And she entered the entertainment industry with her parents' money and enjoyed the admiration of others. How ironic. And she was not modest about herself, saying that she was a talented actor, which made netizens hate her even more

So I usually read xianxia novels, which are much more interesting than watching dramas

As far as I know, Goryeo dynasty had very similar clothing style, as ancient China.
Obviously you think: Chinese people cannot use Korean culture, but Chinese culture can definitely be used by Koreans. You are so hypocritical, and you don’t know that some cultures are developed on vast lands, which Korea does not have. Obviously you don’t understand. You think that what is Chinese is Korean. You openly use other people’s culture and pretend to be innocent when others protest. It’s really disgusting.

When Chinese people say that kdrama plagiariz cdrama , they are the oppressors. Koreans can use Chinese culture on the grounds of cultural similarity. If this is not cultural appropriation, what is it? It's not that you are not allowed to film other eras, but you don't use your own culture correctly. Instead, you step by step integrate Chinese things into Korean dramas. You plagiarized from Alchemy of Soul and now you are plagiarizing again. Aren't Chinese people allowed to protest?

I'm really fed up with you using the excuse of "being ruled, having the same culture" to copy everything from Chinese dramas. From the hair, to the clothes, to the jewelry, even the wuxia style is completely plagiarized. The look of the red assassin is definitely plagiarized from Chinese dramas. Don't you have your own cultural heritage? Why buy Chinese jewelry? In the end, you turn around and say that others oppress you from the perspective of the victim, The person who was plagiarized became a sinner, It's really disgusting

Don't get excited, I never said anything about Korean territory, please don't confuse the issue. Korea was ruled by China in ancient times, but they had their own style. The problem is that you just copy Chinese things, buy traditional costumes from China, and plagiarize the styles of Chinese costume dramas. And you just copy something from Chinese dramas. This era can be like Chinese dramas, but please don't plagiarize and keep your own style

That's what I mean, buying traditional Chinese clothes and then misleading others that this is Korea's own culture.

I am Chinese and I don't want to offend anyone. But I feel very uncomfortable with the cdrama vibe of this drama. Their jewelry has been discovered by us Chinese as traditional Chinese jewelry sold in shopping website in China, and their hairstyles and clothing are also in Chinese style. It feels like cultural appropriation.

Martial arts are found in every country, but wuxia and Xianxia are definitely Chinese culture. The background settings are the accumulation of thousands of years of culture. Please don’t appropriate cultural appropriation. If you don’t understand what Wuxia and Xianxia are, Please Google, they are not just pure martial arts fighting

Xianxia isn't a culture pls 😭
Xianxia is Chinese culture and was developed through their history. It doesn’t matter if you like Korean dramas, but please don’t make excuses for cultural appropriation.

You seem to be saying that Western cowboys do not belong to the United States, and Japanese samurai do not belong to Japan. Xianxia and martial arts itself are Chinese culture, and Koreans do not have the historical environment for the birth of this culture.

Because Goguryeo's culture is very Chinese and its territory is within China. This touches on issues of political and cultural appropriation...I'm worried about this being a Chinese-style historical drama in Korean

The young maid wore Ming Dynasty clothes from the Confucius Museum, and the older maid wore Song Dynasty clothes. My guess is the early Ming Dynasty and the end of the Song Dynasty.

This work is about the supernatural powers of Taoism. There are many Chinese cultures in it, such as Tai Chi, Yin Yang, Bagua, Wudang Mountain, Longhu Mountain and other existing Chinese sects, which have nothing to do with Japan. It's just outsourced to a Japanese company. The original work is Chinese

They even accuse the Chinese of cultural appropriation when there are lettuce-wrapped barbecue and taekwondo in modern cdramas. They made a fuss when they used iron chopsticks in Until the end of the moon (in the drama, they are silver chopsticks for testing poison) and said cultural appropriation, even though the chopsticks are It was invented by the Chinese. Koreans are so sensitive, and many Korean historical dramas use Chinese culture.
