FCC's supposed to play a muliti layer and nuanced, detailed oriented character regarding his feelings. Jiang Yi is someone whose eyes speaks louder than the words. Even if he do not spell a word, it should be clearly visible in his eyes. But except for sweet yet awkward smile from time to time and that cold face i can't see anything in the actor's face. .
really, acting a silent lover or acting inexperince in love does not mean to act foolish. Hope he will improve his acting skills in the upcoming days.

No need to worry; even if there is a relationship (as it's the sequel, yes, the relationship will be surely connected but not that heavily), and everything will be explained in 'The Last Immortal' without creating any confusion for viewers. There are many prequel and sequel versions in Chinese costume dramas like ALP and TLI, that viewers can watch without watching each part. TThey are not like S1 or S2.

As long as I vibe well with the story and characters, even the average, low CGI, Ost will work for me.
But, still, optimistic about this cuz of Bai Jingting.
