I think the two seasons complete each other, so yes I'm a fan of the show as a whole, I lost count of how many times I watched it. Unfortunately, I can relate with Jiwoo so his actions don't bother me, but I can see how frustrating he can be for some people ahaha
About the no sub re-watch, I do it only if I watched enough times to know what they're saying. Bad subs drive me insane, I imagine watching something with no subs would be worst lol

Yep, I feel the same. To my star is my favorite show because I'm still finding new details at every re-watch. I love when directors choose the "show, don't tell" style of storytelling. My ultimate re-watch is without subtitles, to just focus on the actors face. It would be great if I new the language to catch the little details, like polite/impolite speech 😭

She was really brave. I really respect the people who don't give up, they have such a strong mind. It's also important to have a strong support system, like the one Lin Tuo has.
in Canada, we cannot share patient's info to their family members or friends because of PIPEDA (Canada's version…
I'm italian and it's the same here. I remember my brother was in the hospital once and since he was already 18 the doctor couldn't tell his diagnosis to my parents. I don't know if it's different in China or they just wanted to show how everyone would react.
Survived the daily cry fest ✌️ Ep 16/17 were particularly hard to watch. Everybody is trying to accept the fact that it's a terminal illness. I knew Que would bring the positivity in Tuo new life. She's going to set the mood and everyone else will have to follow. I admire grampa, he knows what's going on but let them decide when to tell him. Now the only one remaining is Ye, how upset will he be to be left in the dark? Probably a lot.
Something that made me chuckle (while wiping my tears) was the poor doctor having to explain the same thing every couple of months to every friend and family member of Tuo 😅
Minimal dubbing, I think I noticed it in a couple of scenes only
I haven't watched it but knowing how jdramas like to be super sad with extra sadness, that one would be more painful to watch, for me. Also I don't want to see Haruma in pain. Having saying that, I know it's a beautiful drama, so if you want to give it a try, you could watch the Japanese version while you wait for the Chinese one to end and binge that too. 😊
Que was such a positive person and now seems like she's just lost. I think she can't move on from the break up because she feels something is wrong. I understand why Tuo didn't tell her but at this point he's just delaying the inevitable. It's going to be so heartbreaking when she finds out 😭
Great acting from everyone! Guang Pu made me cry and laugh. I'm so happy he knows, but at the same time sad because he can't talk about it with anyone. Also, thank goodness the brothers have the grampa, I don't know how they would have survived without his support.
I can't believe I'm going to say this just 8 days after I asked why people were complaining because they were releasing 1ep a day, but... They really need to give us more episodes. It's like I'm watching the same one for the last week. I started to skip some scenes because they were very predictable. Hopefully we don't have to suffer for much longer 🙏
I was on the verge of tears throughout ep 10 and 11 but what pushed me over the edge was his boss offering to go to the hospital with him. It must be so hard for him to endure everything by himself. I can't even imagine what goes through his mind. I understand why he's doing it but it's so painful to watch 😭
The way he's discovering the illness at the same time both their careers are starting to bloom... It's going to come crushing down so painfully. I'm going to have to look for a comedy show after every episode 😭
normally we gets 2 episodes per day for 4 days then one episode per day for 1 or 2 days , thats how usual episode…
Since I learned about the influence the government has on the industry, I decided to not judge a drama too harshly. I just skip whatever I find unnecessary and rate the drama based on what I don't skip. I feel bad for the hell they have to go through to release a series.
