hey! i can give a quick hopefully kinda accurate summary maybe? (im pulling this from my very bad memory.) basically…
yeah, i felt really bad for Wangquan Hongye in LIP. everyone just left him one by one edit: should clarify that it was NOT willingly T-T. they did not all willingly leave him
Is there a summary of "Love In Pavilion" anywhere??? 🧐I wanna know what happened in that story to understand…
hey! i can give a quick hopefully kinda accurate summary maybe? (im pulling this from my very bad memory.) basically the whole plot of Love in Pavilion was that Dongfang Huazhi and Wangquan Hongye are the leaders of their respective families, the Dongfangs and the Wangquans. there's a Masked Gang which consists of the Dongfangs and a few other people, and they're all pretty close friends. the black fox lady and the black tree thing was the main antagonist of the whole thing because she tried to use Dongfang Huazhi as her vessel. some stuff happens that i can't remember (im so sorry) and they need to try and suppress/destroy the black tree and the black fox lady. welll, it doesn't work out. mostly everyone of the Masked Group dies except for Wangquan Hongye. Dongfang Huazhi goes home but finds out a guy took over the villa, so she becomes a concubine of Wangquan Hongye to survive and they have a son, which is Wangquan Fugui. excepttt, Dongfang Huazhi puts all of her power into her child so that he could become the most powerful soldier, so she also dies. that's about it, if anyone would like to correct me please do! i had to pull this from my memory and i skipped on alot of stuff! i think that should give you enough context for Sword and Beloved but if clarification is needed i can try! if not then hopefully someone else can clarify.
nope, 2 per week like a regular kdrama i think. it's not a netflix original or anything like that so the episodes…
it's on netflix but it's not a netflix original. netflix originals are usually alot shorter (8-10 episodes). this drama is produced by tvN, a korean pay television network. sorry for the confusion!
Why does it feels so long that I think I'm remembering vaguely the episode 8.
same! legit cant remember anythinggg from the previous episodes. it's like i suddenly started watching a kdrama on episode 8 instead of starting at the beginning T-T
do i need to watch season 1 in order to understand 2 and 3? tia
i would sayyes but you’d miss out on some of thr backstory in s1. BUT, since s2 has new characters you can watch it without watching s1. i would recommend watching s1 though for more backstory
quick question...... do you guys feel that this show will have a sad ending?
it's like 50/50 for me. im leaning on either a happy or bittersweet but a sad ending is a really big possibility. like with how the plot is going? i wouldn't be too surprised if there is a sad ending but im hoping and praying it's at least bittersweet or happy. im a sucker for happy endings lmao
edit: should clarify that it was NOT willingly T-T. they did not all willingly leave him
