I quite enjoyed the drama

I quite enjoyed the drama and it is not clear why it is condemned and it receives such bad reviews, it is a bit like an American drama, it is true, after all, it is a Netflix production. I don't understand why the viewers should compare it to other dramas. I think that beyond the plot, (which is not bad at all) there are some difficult social criticisms in it, concerning the humiliating attitude of parents towards their children, the humiliating attitude of the rich towards the poor, the humiliating attitude of teachers towards students and the humiliating attitude of students towards students (and this is seen in many Korean dramas. They all bring everyone to the edge of their mental endurance.
Maybe because I am also a mother of twins, the story touched a sensitive chord with me. ..it's also not clear why Netflix doesn't mean that in episode 7 after the subtitles there is another and very significant section for the end of the series ..that many viewers don't notice and think that the drama ends with the leading woman arriving at her mother's house?? The series had a great soundtrack, the actors were great...all in all, not a bad drama at all and since Netflix defined it as a "limited series", I guess there is no second season and it's a shame, because it was left with another murder that you can hardly understand who was murdered (perhaps on purpose) and the end open, and has the good man become the bad man?

one of the best historical kdramas

In my watch list, I have over 400 kdramas, of which at least 100 are historical, (with plots ranging from fantasy love stories to reality-based hysterics) This drama is one of the best historical kdramas I've watched (including Empress Ki being one of them) Amazing screen acting / perfect casting The actors did an amazing job especially the female lead. Jeon Jong Seo and Ji Chang Wook I knew he would never disappoint. I think everyone who complains about nudity scenes are people who are simply not used to this genre. Because this is far from your average historical kdrama. What was special about the drama was that it was historically based. The production was accompanied by a historian who made sure that the details were accurate, including amazing costumes. The production was so invested on an international level. I'm not sure why they made such a big deal out of the "sex" scenes (historically, that was the case). And that was also a tactic intended for the queen. The drama was accurate in terms of the number of episodes as well as its ending. The queen, who was historically strong, managed to keep the throne for a short period of time. It's true that there is violence in the drama, but it was also historically correct (the historical period was very cruel, that's a fact). In my opinion, a drama that deserves all the praise, for the casting, the soundtrack, the set... and of course Ji Chang Wook, who did not disappoint with a phenomenal performance.

Wow what a great drama i love it♥

Wow what a great drama. It is true that this is a historical fantasy drama, but at the same time it has historical truths that are correct for that time and it was fascinating to watch it.. Great acting and casting of the entire cast... a drama that has everything, laughter, crying, love, corruption, political upheaval, friendship and sacrifice.. There is no doubt that actress Shin Hye Sun is extremely talented and has versatile acting ability. The plot manages to maintain tension throughout the episodes, so that you immediately want to see the next episode, all the characters from the main to the last functions (including the servants) develop their personalities gradually.. highly recommended drama 10/1

one of the more sensitive dramas

Of the hundreds of dramas I've seen (full disclosure - I'm addicted to Korean dramas of all types, action, historical, romance, political, comedy, etc.), this is a quality drama that is wonderfully constructed, it's one of the more sensitive dramas I've seen, it activates a wide spectrum of emotional feelings, there is a saying who says "There is no love in the world like a mother's love" and this, in my opinion, is the essence of the drama along with the question of what parenting/friendship/forgiveness is, a cast of talented actors
...a drama that is definitely worth watching ..warning..you need to equip yourself with a tissue..

A quality drama, don't give up♥

A quality drama, don't give up and watch until the end to understand its quality.
Casting is also perfect, there is no doubt, Wi Ha Joon is perfect in the role he plays (I love his acting in both Little Women and The Worst of Evil) the casting and acting of everyone is perfect as if they were chosen with tweezers.. there were moments that made me seethe with rage and there were also those that made me cry with rage.
The drama is a sharp indictment and criticism against the education system in Korea, the pursuit of excellence by memorization and not by self-thinking or analyzing situations, at the same time I have a reservation that the drama is apparently boring, there is a lot of talk about grades/tests and the grading system of tests. Sometimes I found myself repeating episodes or dialogue (one must say witty) to understand things, which leads me to think that the drama mainly speaks to viewers from Korea, they can better understand the depth of the drama than a western audience, most of the filming was done almost in the dark (even the room of The principal of the college it's dark not to talk about intimate scenes and a kiss lol) which made it difficult to watch. There are a lot of silences but the silences are so necessary for the plot (really wonderful acting) I've already seen series that deal with the strict education in South Korea and the attitude of the parents to their children and teachers regarding achievements, but it was on the edge (from what I saw), this drama gave me a different perspective …
Of course, it has many important and universal topics related to education and interpersonal communication, (relationships between students/teachers/and parents and interpersonal relationships on a romantic background and pure and supportive love)
The soundtrack of the drama is great and pleasant throughout the drama
I rated the drama 9/10 for me it was another introduction to culture and it takes time to get used to its pace and plot...
And it may be true that she is not suitable for everyone, this is my personal opinion and I would recommend giving her a chance♥

Drama that is a masterpiece.♥

Thank for a drama that is a masterpiece.
.
A wonderful drama, which kicks in the soft stomach, and touches on such sensitive issues, a perfect casting of all the actors who manage to convey a spectrum of emotions, love, sadness, joy, passion, friendship, disappointment, pain).

And the actor Nam Yoon Su, (I've seen several of his dramas/movies) is so talented that he took such a bold role and executed it with phenomenal perfection.

I was sorry to read (negative) reviews against him for daring to play the role of a gay man with daring scenes rather reviews from fans, but don't worry he didn't remain indebted and didn't apologize, - proud of him.

The number of chapters is perfect.

Perfect soundtrack

This drama deserves all the accolades. And I hope she wins an award for acting, casting, directing, production, soundtrack, monologues, cinematography...everything is great

masterpiece series♥

What a masterpiece, the frame story is based on a true story, which makes the series more emotional and deep. This is a series in which the entire spectrum of emotions is activated, it is not surprising that it has won so many awards and praise. Beyond the realistic plot, the series has phenomenal acting by the entire cast without exception, from the main to the secondary. Smart monologues, mental toughness and survival, chemistry, interaction and dynamics between the characters. Love, sacrifice and pure giving without conditions, between spouses and between parents and children. A drama that spans three generations and from generation to generation illustrates how the worldview of each generation, a legacy that parents leave to children/grandchildren. The characters develop with the plot, there is a breaking of conventions.. A series that is true not only for Korean culture - it is true for everyone. In my opinion, a masterpiece series.

A wonderful, high-quality drama♥

A wonderful, high-quality drama. First of all, I admit that I did not read all the comments, so I may be repeating things that were written here. Let's start with the fact that the summary of the drama does not reflect its excellent plot.
Without giving spoilers, the drama deals with such an important topic, and although it is from 2019, it was true then, and even more so today, and certainly in the future that is already here and now (artificial intelligence). The first episode may be a little confusing - but don't despair. The drama has everything that goes into a great plot, from a fine and sophisticated script to clever monologues, it has comical and funny situations, love, and it has everything to do with the manipulation of searches on the Internet, the unbearable ease of controlling what we search for on the Internet and what we receive. It has an ethical and moral question between the public's right to know and an invasion of privacy, between justice and business profit, the spread of shaming and fake news for both public figures and actors whose careers and lives have been damaged because of fake news, the spread of false or personal information about celebrities by the entertainment industry to cover up scandals by leaders. The drama has female empowerment and wonderful friendships, several love stories with crazy chemistry between the actors (not only between a man and a woman but in general between all the characters involved), love stories with age gaps, perfect casting, perfect acting with a respectable arsenal of actors (some of whom are guests per episode) and a perfect soundtrack. To identify with each character and at the same time develop antagonism towards them.. This is not a clichéd classic Korean drama, this is the kind of drama that will remain in my memory.. I highly recommend watching 10/10

This was a great emotional drama

This was a great emotional drama. It was a drama that I had been putting off for a long time for personal reasons. I knew it would touch on my sensitive and painful parts. I also knew it would be an emotional roller coaster, but I still don't regret watching it. I was really drawn to it. It was a very realistic, well-made, and mature drama. I loved the witty monologues, and it was a drama that would suit any couple in the world (not just Koreans). The casting, acting, and fantastic chemistry between the characters are perfect. It was a drama that included friendship, support, love, toxic love, and obsessive love. It started with love and created a seemingly perfect family but ended with hatred and divorce, parental alienation and using children as a tool and means of conflict during the divorce/marriage process, the endless love between couples, the love between parents and children, and the price of choice... It was a really great drama. 10/10

Short and to the pointI loved it ♥

Short and to the point, healing two broken hearts, whether it's the loss of love or the thought of losing a parent, there's something symbolic in the fact that he works on mapping streets, entering narrow alleys and main streets, mapping back and forth to achieve the accuracy of the mapping, likened in my opinion to mapping and analyzing emotions as we delve into the depths of the soul. ..Great chemistry between the leading actors (who have done and are doing several series together) I loved it

"psychic" series

There is no doubt that this is a "psychic" series, suspenseful and violent (you need to have a high level of concentration to understand the small nuances). The series gives a glimpse into the dark side of the era of artificial intelligence (AI), and the abuse of dating sites. A glimpse into the difficulty of Asperger's diagnosed people to read social and environmental situations. It has some social messages, concerning the question of what is relative morality.
The casting is perfect, the acting of all the actors is professional and perfect +++.
Clearly erotic scenes that are not typical of Korean series (I don't know how the actors stood it during filming, haha)
There were scenes that were borderline illogical (in my eyes) that damaged the credibility of the plot, this is not a fantasy series, the plot is based on reality and therefore it bothered me personally.

Great and mature drama love it♥

I don't know how I got into this drama, and I don't regret it for a moment. What a great series (plot), perfect casting and perfect acting, a mature drama, (from a parent's perspective) witty, funny and intelligent dialogues, it has comedic situations (I laughed quite a bit), it has a great dynamic between a mother (a single parent) who is still a teenager herself (missed all of her adult years due to an early pregnancy) and a daughter who is approaching 30, great chemistry between them, the plot, the scenes, the tension, the emotions, and the sensitivity, the disagreements, the love, the sacrifice, the relationship, the friendships, the support, everything is so realistic, this is not a classic Korean drama, there is no love triangle here, there is no evil chaebol family, there is a journey of self-discovery here, (I'm not giving spoilers but the ending is the essence of the journey of the entire plot), the number of episodes is accurate and not spread out. Nice soundtrack that matches the scenes..I liked it and highly recommend it ♥♥

A masterpiece series

A masterpiece series
So for those who love series related to medicine, this is the series, for those who love to see vision, hope, dedication, perseverance, healing and recovery (of both doctors and patients) and that everything is combined in a love story (and not just for the medical profession) this is the series. Perfect casting for the three seasons, perfect script, perfect acting, perfect soundtrack that is already on my playlist, I saw the three seasons in less than a week, I was captivated, not a single episode was unnecessary, simply a wonderful and recommended series, and for those who ask whether to watch all the seasons, then unequivocally yes, do not give up, no season. If it were possible to rate more than 10, I would do so with love.

Great short and precise drama♥

I finished this charming, short and precise drama last night (45 minutes each episode). It is written in the content and in the title that it is a comedy, it is true that it has comedic situations, at the same time it touches on sensitive issues of body and mind. (Impotence, society's/family's attitude to achievements, lack of self-fulfillment due to social judgment, and more)

* It has healing and recovery, support and sincere and sensitive love.

* Great soundtrack (I've already downloaded it to spotify)

* Perfect casting and acting

* I enjoyed it very much - I recommend it with love♥

Excellent drama

I don't know how I got to her and I don't regret it for a moment.
This is a drama about healing and recovery. Personally, it took me at least the first 4 chapters to understand how great it is, (don't despair) what a perfect plot, everything becomes clear little by little, also the sincere and wonderful love. The repressions and secrets that scar the body and mind (and are healed) characters that develop from episode to episode, fine casting... and a fine soundtrack.
Highly recommended drama for me 10/10
