Cause idk why but since ever the first few episodes the ml and fl annoyed the hell out of me they were so annoying mostly the fl ngl
Which ruined the storyline for me cause I wasn’t able to enjoy or see it as much cause I’m as distracted most of the time by the fl annoying actions
Cause I have never so far watched a drama before where everyone is so annoying mostly side characters And met a fl I just couldn’t stand when I saw her in any scene
Cause what’s with the writing ? I was so excited for rowoon and boah pairing but the writing just fell super short for me :/
So I just saw a video on this whole boycott thing on TikTok which I had no idea of Honestly idk how the hell it started but I have seen these type of situations before so I rather just wait it airs and judge for it myself and see whether or not the coincidences are not just mere coincidence
Maybe I might as well start the webtoon
Edit:I checked on twitter it’s already been debunked by a user
I am super excited for this drama but I hope it turns out well Cause I have trust issues with 16 episodes cause you don’t know if it’s only good halfway then the other half ruins it or a rushed ending
Started off strong and well it ended off ok But at some point during the story the romance just disappeared still at the end did she loved him? It felt more on sided this whole time 😭
I am just so excited for this now comes just a waiting game cause all the excitement I felt for hidden love when I saw the teaser photos are just rushing back again and now comes another waiting game lol for me 😭 And ZMY as young sangzhi!! And rather than judging right now I’m willing to wait and watch it before judging it
one of the things that still frustrates me even 3 years later is how they didn't give sunoh a proper closure and jojo never told him why she did that by that I mean the shield she installed and causing pain part because ngl it was hard seeing sunoh being so broken and causing pain to another girl who likes him because of the pain jojo caused him in highschool
Looks like I’m not the only one that agrees the show went off track after a certain episodes but that’s the thing with 16 episodes drama it’s either good and wraps up the story nicely or the story ends up being dragged or go a little off track by the 2nd half
So I really haven’t had much hope for 16 episode dramas as of late
I find that the ML and FL are too passive. Bad things are happening to them and they only respond. But they don't…
I mean what’s the point of complaining cause yeah he could have been easily fired idk how the hell he still has a job ngl But what’s the point of complaining? She already knew well enough what type of guy he was so there wasn’t much of surprise and it’s complain and look like a complete drama queen in the public view or just ignore the fly and go on with your day cause in the end he could be less of a bother to her when it comes to work when he already has a a bad social status at work
For his money why would he need to spend it so recklessly? If anything goes wrong he would at least have a support as his back up so I don’t see the necessity of spending his money when he since the beginning as goal was to protect jiwon which didn’t need money when he was planning to let her learn self Defense
For yuri info that I have no idea actually I wonder why he hasn’t done anything about it but when it comes to the media it’s always tricky cause one wrong move and he can be easily painted as a villain with fabricated evidence and even if he has all the evidence against yuri he needs to find a way to make sure she is painted as the villain in the media or Else one slip up and the favours are shifting towards yuri
Well since the beginning we all knew what type of character jiwon was and she was nice wasn’t this type of strong she was a pushover And jiwon herself knew well enough that feeling of her mother abandoning her so why would she say that to someone who she has considered her friend for all these years and someone who went through the same thing as her? What made sumin and jiwon different was the parent that they grew up with Jiwon had her loving dad whilst sumin had unbearable mom And that shaped them to who they are today so how can she say those words when she experienced the same pain as her and would be like a double dagger to her and would cause more pain than triumph for her
I finished the latest episode and wow interesting one indeed
Personally I didn’t give a f about boA acting cause ngl whenever her plot line came on it was meh And like I mentioned in my comment I made last week this whole ex fiancé obsessive psycho plot seems to me as just a plot tool bc the writer didn’t bother to write any development for the antagonist of the series
One of the golden scenes of this episode has to be the confrontation scene between sumin and jiwon, I’m so glad they kept the cheating storyline in bc that was one of the main storylines that made this story interesting for me when I read the webtoon Im sad tho it didn’t have much development and only a one episode relevance cause I would have loved to see them develop this more instead of the ex fiancé plot Also got to give it up to the two actresses cause idk if I had goosebumps bc my room was cold or of their chilling acting but wow I loved that scene
Another scene I had to mention is sumin and minhwan in the hotel when he told her to snap out of it and it wasn’t over for them yet I was like YESSS this was what I was looking forward to of the main antagonists This team up this revenge against jiwon and their desperate attempts not a 3rd antagonist who’s storyline wasn’t needed
The 2nd couple this episode was wow the chemistry was there like they definitely have the spotlight since ever the 2nd half started for me tho I wonder if their develop the 3rd couple as well? There’s only 3 episodes left so I doubt it their probably gonna hint at how they got together but behind the scenes and that’s it
But overall I hope this whole ex fiancé plot wraps up sooner cause I rather have the story focus on other things
Despite how the plot is kinda nonsense and that YJW isn’t exactly in a slump more like he’s wronged and looking for a way to prove his innocence and has ptsd I am liking the lead’s chemistry so far and this is the first drama I ever watched of PSH and I think her acting is fine idk why everyone says her acting is bad or annoying if it’s the kissing parts I can understand why but overall her acting so far is nice And PHS stole the show for me he’s comedic moments are so funny
Overall despite a nonsense plot the romcom aspect is whats making me to watch this and also the rivalry in the flash backs are so funny especially PHS dramatic funny moments I can’t help but enjoy
Am I the only one who notices how minhyun acting in this he’s expressions were sometimes like this 😳 just kinda big eyes But also how I felt nothing from him idk if it’s because of his character is written like that or it’s his acting but this is just something I noticed and has been a bit bothering me since ever I watched the drama 2 years ago
its gotten so damn boring! like the scenes are so dull, none of the characters have anything about them. as dull…
I find it a shame because I would have loved to see sumin and minhwan become more villain and down a spiral and want to get back at jiwon cause I felt it’s a shame that they didn’t develop them more but just diluted them :/
So I am the only one that thought it’s going a bit downhill writing wise?
I mean with the latest episode showing his former fiancé back and the mom just feels too much and rushed ngl also I do think that the ex fiancé coming back wasn’t really necessary to the plot I felt like the writer only brought her in so she can be a useful tool to push minhwan to kill jiwon and be that writing tool to lead easily to jihyuk accident
I found it a shame cause I felt like they could have showcased more how minhwan character go down a spiral and starts to really lose his mind instead of this unnecessary ex fiancé plot

But I would rather judge it myself than anything
And I went on Twitter to check out what happened and I saw a thread where a Twitter user who is a shawol debunked majority of all the “coincidence”
My comment was nothing on hating or me wanting to boycott it
I was already excited for this drama anyways I wasn’t gonna really let this boycott stop me since it’s been proved wrong
Honestly idk how the hell it started but I have seen these type of situations before so I rather just wait it airs and judge for it myself and see whether or not the coincidences are not just mere coincidence

But tomorrow needs to come faster
