I'm curious, I'm not sure about the setting time of their school days and the present timeline.I heard somewhere…
I have a theory of the possible timeline of the past I just remembered when I read the manhua of hidden love I remember specifically when sang zhi was young and made those paper stars where she would write a wish She wrote the date and year which was either 2006 or 2009 I donât remember but probably mid to late 2000s Idk if it was also included in the drama But going off of that, it means that sangyan probably was in university during mid to late 2000 and it could mean that his highschool years happened somewhere during the early to mid 2000s Tho Iâm not sure and donât know it theres a actual specific year mentioned in the novel
I'm curious, I'm not sure about the setting time of their school days and the present timeline.I heard somewhere…
Iâm curious about the time frame as well but something ironic is that during their hello saturday episode ruonan asked him whats his mbti and he didnât know what it was lol
Tho I found it a shame we didnât get much direct explanation on what happened to the uncle and we find out that he has been on the run for some time but it was easy enough for me to piece the puzzle together
But I honestly wonder how he was gonna be jailed and then she was the key to the evidence needed
I just loved ep 27 and BJT subtle acting through his eyes when yifan told him And the last scene as well Then I remember seeing comments on how the scene of her in HK eating with the dancers was the last scene they shot (Iâm not sure pls dont quote me on this) then I got all emotional cause I remember once again that itâs ending Now Iâm getting all emotional and nostalgic cause wdym it has already been so long since I first heard that this would get a drama, then coming on the page once and a while to see if there is any news updated about the cast, then the excitement of hearing it started to shoot then checking up again and see how filming is going Then hearing the exciting news that filming wrapped and then checking the page on the news of when it could air Then the rushing here when I saw the airing date was confirmed, dealing with those annoying hidden love complainers Like wdym it now has an end date? When just weeks ago nobody knew when it would end đ
Like im just too emotionally attached to this and how joy it has given me these past few weeks đ€§ and acting like prideful simply bc I read the manhua and knew before these newcomers (I really need to stop this ) Like how can I let go? At least SY can be with WYF his whole life but I canât really be with the drama can I? (okay this is getting weird lol) Gonna be so sad after this ends and the best thing ends cause they have brought so much joy in my life that I donât want it to end
How I wish we get to see zhao Lusi, Chen zheyuan, bai jing ting and Zhang ruonan in a variety show at least but it will never happen and on,y in my delusions
I understand where you are coming from, youâre not the first of many to express the same frustrations and concerns…
Interesting and my bad that argument wasnt directed towards you But you know Iâm glad yifan at least knows that
She doesnât deserve to be forgiven by sang yan when she ran way to HK You do bring up some good points of the certain plot holes there is But what I meant by the two friends is the teacher and dancer who she had dinner with not qiao qiao my bad if I didnât made it clear enough I do understand that you think they got together too soon (tbh it is a good point) but to be honest thatâs when the uncle didnât pop up yet and we canât exactly expect all characters in fiction to be very self aware of their own being to be honest despite how frustrating it can be sometimes
Yeah they couldâve gotten him to talk to her mom but she doesnât exactly think heâs a good guy And yeah he couldâve learned more from her aunt and see how she treated her so itâs a shame they didnât bother with that
They couldâve gotten a ruff idea of where she was tho I do agree that them just finding her randomly crossing by doesnt make much sense cause we didnât know how Qiao qiao and SH got there as well
Yeah it did seem awkward but personally I think sang yan after his learning somethings about her past and didnât think it was the right time to talk to her about it And was just happy that she looked fine and safe
Yeah that they didnât explain and I myself wondered that as well so maybe it would be explained in the next episodes about the uncle
My pov on your last point is that for a person like WYF, distance and time does help one especially help clearing their mind at least and process certain things and situations Dont people sometimes take a walk outside just to clear their minds? In a way this is what I mean but I know for me that if I was facing a wall that I didnât know how to break and spiralled , what I need is time to figure myself out and the situation and properly process it At least we know that WYF didnât plan to stay long and actually come back
But after some of your points that do bring a good argument I can see as well some plot holes I fail to see and couldnât put my finger on when I first saw the episode cause I understand why they did that about running away to HK but a part me didnât understand something I just didnât know what But yeah sorry about those who took your opinion more wrongly just that a lot of them expressed similar points like you before but their comments and opinion just came off very rude and hateful and a lot of us have just been on edge bc of it
Despite minor things that made little sense to me, I enjoyed the drama, but the HK arc was the camel in the back.…
I understand where you are coming from, youâre not the first of many to express the same frustrations and concerns about this
What I love about this is how itâs able to shed more light on SA But also how we get to see how a character like WYF struggling with her trauma especially because she chose to lock away that memory and forgetting instead of moving on and choosing to take a step towards a journey of her healing and facing her pain
Her going to HK let us see that she herself was overwhelmed in a way that all those years of her choosing to not face her trauma led to that consequence of her running away bc thatâs what she knows best in that situation cause since that day all WYF has been thinking and doing is surviving and making sure she doesnât see her family anymore and live a quiet life, I mean nobody did ever bother to ask her how was she? How was she dealing with this situation? So of course she doesnât know how to express herself and kept it hidden and think itâs shameful and a hideous part of herself
It has been shown how people around her even the police barely did anything to help her case when she was SA, yes the justice system can help but letâs not forget how this system is as flawed as any human being would be and has failed many real life victims as well (also she needs evidence btw) A lot of people have said as well âwhy doesnt she seek medical helpâ but they also forget that opening up about something like this is not easy as if you were sharing what happened during your day For a character like WYF who has been treated like extra load and a burden to the adults she lived with itâs not easy to say it especially if the same adults told her to hide this and tell her that this SA never happened, I mean how would you feel if you were treated like that? If it were me I would hide it
Yes I understand the frustrations of her leaving again and coming back without consequences and how to many this seem to be written off with the excuse of her trauma
But it has been shown how WYF regrets saying those words to SY back when they were young so much and she knew that this would hurt him once again thatâs why in her vague letter she said if I remember correctly that she knows she isnât allowed to ask forgiveness for this or him forgiving her. WYF has shown that she regrets everything so badly WYF never planned to honestly get into a relationship with SY letâs be honest, they simply reconnected by coincidence but it didnât mean she had the intention to pursue him if anything she was trying to avoid him lol and WYF was just living her life until by some fate they ended up as roommates once again then romance
It has been shown that SY and Qiao Qiao are frustrated with what she did especially SY being hurt a lot since this time they are in a relationship vs back then he was rejected more or less. But they chose to TRY to understand her and give her space since both knew a little bit of the struggles she went through. SY himself has expressed to her how his world came to crumble when she did that and how devastated and learning what life she lived that she kept hidden from him and it seems in ep 28 he expresses more about his own feelings to her as well
Since the beginning I think SY never had the hopes that one day WYF would reciprocate his feelings, he probably stayed only to make sure she was fine and lived a happy life at least so he could leave within 3 months without much worry until he saw a glimpse of hope and decide to try to pursue her once again. In his way his love is selfless cause he doesnât expect WYF to give back the money she owes him or the furniture he picked for her and expecting she picks furniture for him or cooking a meal. In the end I admire him and his patience because I canât imagine how hurt he must have been this time when she left him Despite him searching for her like a maniac
WYF already took the step of wanting to reach out back to SY again when she reopened her phone and her talking to the two friends just pushed her to do it and yeah I know why didnât she realize it by herself instead of having two characters making her realize that? Hate to break it to ya but this plot device is quite common of having a side character or her friend making the protagonist realize something during something major Then again it can also apply to real life cause not all of us humans are quite self aware are we? A lot of people donât realize their attitude or actions might be bad until someone points it out
What I donât understand with people who have the same thought as you is that You guys keep mentioning about SY feelings and why does WYF get away with everything under the pretext of âtraumaâ and he himself is hurt as well so why does nobody notice that? But why is it that a lot of these same opinions contradict themselves? They say they understand her then proceed to say why is she hurting him? Trauma isnât an excuse! So it makes me wonder did they understand her? Or did they just understand that she went through pain and now she needs to stop being a coward cause sheâs an adult and face it?
What I hate is people apply age as a valid argument on why this character acts like that or how a character should act, trauma isnât something that just because youâre a adult means you shouldnât be scared anymore but trauma is a pain that lasts especially if not healed It doesnât matter what age you are something can still haunt you till youâre old and for me Iâm glad I was able to see throughout the story how wen yifan who hated this world, who was only surviving than living everyday and the distant her meet a person who loves her as she is, wait patiently for her and donât force her to open up to him when sheâs not ready, her Sun to the endless night to help her learn what love is and teach her that she is worth so much then seeing her going on a better path and looking so much happier Like yes she is a coward but I love of her character despite her not being the strong and brave fl that we are used to to
Well I hope this didnât come off that rude I just wanted to share my views and opinions on certain things and if it did come off rude I have no intentions of that my bad
