Absolutely hooked from start to finish! Edward Chen was incredible (loved him since Your Name Engraved Herein and Red Balloon) — he brought so much depth to Zhang Yi Ziang. The plot is a slow burn at first (ep 1–6) but ep 7–12 are full of twists and tension. I know many disliked the mum, but I believe she truly loved her son, even if her ways were flawed. Their relationship was heartbreaking to watch. Watched all 12 eps in 2 days — dark, emotional, and unforgettable!

Do we know what year the opening scene is set in? This detail could be crucial for understanding the timeline. For example, if the opening scene takes place in 2010, then going back to 1999 would represent a gap of only 11 years. In that case, the characters would be in their early 30s during the opening scene and in their early 20s in 1999. That would make far more sense than suggesting they’ve gone from their 40s back to their 20s.

Wow. What a premiere! 🤯 Reset kicks off with a bang and doesn’t let up for a second. Another time-travel series—but this time we’re going back into the past ⏳, and it totally gave me My Stand-In vibes (in the best way)!

Pond as Armin 💙 really shines here. I already loved him in Fourever You, but this role suits him even better. His chemistry with Thada (Peterpan) 💛 is so good! No hate to Earth (I adore him too 🥺), but Pond and Peterpan just click 👏.

The first episode is 70 minutes long ⏱️, but it flew by. Not a single dull moment—just pure emotion, mystery, and intensity 🎢🔥.

And let’s talk visuals—the 1999 setting is chef’s kiss 👏✨. From vintage cars 🚗 and old-school phones 📞 to the old clothings 🏡, you can feel the effort that went into the production.

That line—“My life has been reset” 💔—ties so beautifully into the title and theme. Perfect metaphor.

I get what you’re saying, but that’s really not the full picture. She didn’t just randomly fall in love with him after everything he did—she had a purpose from the very beginning. She met him when he was a kid (age 10) and already knew exactly who he was. Her actions were driven by revenge for her mother’s death. The emotional side came later, sure, but acting like the whole thing boils down to “she just fell in love” really misses the complexity of the plot. It wasn’t some love story from the start—it was calculated from episode one.

Actually, that’s not what happened at all. Did you watch all 12 episodes? Her reason for sleeping with the student had nothing to do with bullying. It was about revenge for her mother, who committed suicide after her husband had an affair—with the mother of that very student. The teacher’s actions were twisted, yes, but they were driven by emotional trauma and a need for revenge, not some childish payback for being bullied. The story is way more complex than you’re making it out to be.

I really enjoyed Fight for You—it’s been my favorite Taiwanese BL series of 2025 so far.

There haven’t been many releases this year, but I’ve watched Eternal Butler, Exclusive Love, and The Impression of Youth. Among them, Fight for You stands out as the strongest. I’d currently rate it a 9/10, but I’ll see how I feel after the finale airs this Wednesday.

If you thought this Episode 3 of Season of Love in Shimane (NC) was wild, wait until you watch the prequel Kiseki Chapter 2—especially the end of Episodes 3 and 5. The NC scenes there are just as intense, if not hotter. Think slow burns turning into full-on heat. You won’t be disappointed. 🔥🍷💋

Honestly, being organized and having a strong memory helps a lot—I can recall things like birthdays and old classmates’ names, so remembering characters and plots is easy for me.

I work in an office, which gives me the flexibility to keep up. I track the 20 currently airing BL dramas I follow in an Excel sheet synced to my phone, so I never miss an episode.

I also watch completed dramas—recently finished Until We Meet Again (2019)—and never skip scenes or speed-watch. I currently have around 90 titles on my watchlist.

When you’re passionate about something, it’s easy to stay on top of it and enjoy the process!

The Lovely Writer special episode didn’t quite hit the mark for me. After two years, I was expecting a stronger relationship between Gene and Nubsib, but it felt like they were still stuck in the same place. The plot was confusing and had too many unnecessary characters that didn’t add much value. 😕 I just wanted to see more of the main couple.

That said, the moment when Gene gave Nubsib the bracelet was beautiful and showed his commitment. 💖 Overall, it's an 8/10. Not terrible, but I would’ve preferred if they just ended it with the main series.

Lovely Writer (2021) is a hidden gem! 🌟 The show brilliantly captures the pressures and challenges BL actors face in real life—especially dealing with toxic fandoms and the blurred lines between on-screen ships and real-life relationships. The chemistry between Nubsib and Gene is so heartwarming, and their dynamic is just perfect! 💚

Also, I came here after watching the leads in My Stand In and Until We Meet Again—their acting range is incredible! From cold and red-flag to cute and grumpy, the transformation is unreal. Both of them are amazing actors, and their relationship in this show is such a green flag! 🌿

I can't believe I missed this show when it first aired—definitely a must-watch for any BL fan! 💖

Chinese 🇨🇳 BL just hits differently.
Honestly, if the ban wasn’t in place, I can only imagine how huge the genre could be. China has the budget, talent, and production quality to make something truly next-level. Addicted and The Untamed already showed how much impact BL could have — millions of views and tons of buzz.

Fingers crossed that one day the restrictions will be lifted 🤞

The Sparkle In Your Eye doesn’t appear to be listed on kisskh at the moment. However, four episodes were released on YouTube last week, so it seems they may be releasing four episodes per week — although I’m not entirely sure.

It often feels like we get one or the other — either amazing NC scenes with a weak plot, or a strong plot with underwhelming NC moments 😅
