Just finished 8.5/10 for me, it completely got me. It was so thrilling to watch. Every time they had an intimate moment behind their father’s back, it was incredibly intense. I was so nervous they were going to get caught, and that made every scene even hotter.
That kissing scene under the snow was absolutely beautiful. I have already rewatched it five times, and it still gives me the same feeling every single time.
Instead of saying, “I like you,” with words that have been said countless times before, he said, “I walked over 400 steps following you from the hotpot.”
Those teary eyes carried every unspoken feeling, every yearned-for moment, every ounce of love he could never put into words. Before anything else could be said, Zhang Zhun stepped forward and kissed him.
It was such a quiet, simple moment, yet it carried more emotion than a thousand love confessions ever could. It is not only one of my favourite scenes in this series, but one of the most unforgettable kissing scenes I have ever watched in any drama.
After 11 years apart, they finally let all those emotions out through a kiss. Every second carried the weight of the years they lost, the longing they kept hidden, and the love they never stopped holding onto. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, and so full of pain all at once. My heart broke for everything they had to endure before they could finally be together.
YES! I LOVE IT WHEN TWO CHEATERS END UP TOGETHER. 🥰
At the beginning, they both believed they were straight. They were simply two actors working together on the set of Deep In. The kisses, the intimacy, and every emotional scene were all part of their job. Neither of them expected that somewhere between the script and the cameras, they would genuinely fall in love with each other.
They had not yet seen their girlfriends when they finally realised their feelings. If they had continued being intimate while knowingly staying with their girlfriends, I would consider that cheating. But in my opinion, this was the moment they discovered the truth about their hearts. Instead of hiding it or pretending nothing had changed, they decided they would break up with their girlfriends.
That does not make the situation any less heartbreaking. My heart still goes out to both girlfriends because they are innocent and will be deeply hurt. But I see this as two people coming to terms with unexpected feelings and choosing honesty rather than living a lie.
Episode 7’s review A Beautiful Confession That Broke Everyone’s Heart
Episode 7 is my favourite episode so far. They finally confessed their love to each other. This time, it was Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun putting the script aside and choosing their hearts instead.
All it took was Ollie’s tear filled eyes to break through every wall Zhang Zhun had built. Their kiss was not driven by passion alone. It was filled with longing, pain, guilt, and the fear of everything they were about to lose. When they promised each other they would break up with their girlfriends, it was as heartbreaking as it was beautiful.
The falling snow made the moment feel even more devastating. It was as if the whole world had fallen silent to witness two people finally choosing each other, knowing that choice would shatter other hearts.
My heart aches for both girlfriends. They loved wholeheartedly and neither of them deserved this. But a painful truth today is still kinder than a lifetime built on a lie. Sometimes the greatest act of love is letting someone go, even when it leaves everyone heartbroken.

We can’t have the best of both worlds. It’s only just reached the halfway point, and we still have six episodes…
You must be happy with tonight’s Episode 7. We got over 99% screen time with Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun, and like 1% so not much screen time for Dr Fang and his patient.
I love how they balanced the episodes. How did you find Episode 7? Did you like it?
I’ve said this before, but the director was so clever with this concept. It feels like we’re getting two series in one, and it works so well.
The acting is absolutely top notch. When he revealed that he had been SA’d, the crying and emotional breakdown felt so real. Then the director calls “cut,” and they instantly have to switch back into a completely different role. Playing two different characters in the same series and constantly adjusting between them is incredibly difficult.
What makes it even more impressive is how young they are. Ollie is only 20 and was probably 19 during filming, while the Shu Yuan is just 22. They both delivered performances far beyond their years. They’re incredibly talented, and I really hope they get another series together.
On top of that, the director for this series, Liu Jun Hao, is only 27. He’s both an actor and a director, and the way he brought this story to life was so impressive. All three of them are so young and incredibly talented.
It differs from country to country. They accept being gay because it's Thailand, a LGBTQ-friendly country. If…
Funny you mentioned construction. In Western Australia, the mining industry is booming. Some mining jobs can pay up to $500,000 a year, with accommodation and meals fully covered. That’s more than many doctors earn, even though becoming a doctor usually requires more than seven years of study, while some mining roles don’t require a university degree.
I’m Asian myself, but I’m glad I grew up in a Western country where people are generally treated the same regardless of their job or their sexuality.

I know this is a fictional story, and they probably included this plot for comedy and entertainment, but it's something I see far too often in real life. I've travelled to many countries across Asia, and I've seen how people from lower-income backgrounds or those with less prestigious jobs are sometimes treated with far less respect than those who are wealthy or hold high-status positions. Obviously, not everyone is like this, but it happens often enough that it stands out.

And Payback episode 7 after that 🥳
Was Justin the one who raped Gao Zhun? Maybe Dr. Fang will expose him and report him to the police.
