The irony is that we didn’t get a proper wedding in Jack and Joker, but now we’re getting a fake wedding in their new series Police in Love. It feels like the director is saying, “We hurt you in Jack and Joker, so now we’re starting a new series with a fake wedding just to rub it in even more.” 😂

I seriously cannot wait for their new series to start. Only 20 days to go! It’s been two whole years since we’ve seen YinWar back together, and I’m beyond excited for the fake lovers to real lovers trope, especially with them in police uniforms 👮‍♂️ . This is going to be such a ride!

hinata is such a pussy! like boo, you don't even have to hurt her feelings to tell her to the get the fuck away…
I’m not sure if you even read the synopsis.

Hinata is a kind hearted and innocent character. The entire plot of this series revolves around the fact that Hinata cannot say no when people confess their feelings to him.

That’s why Oji was able to force him into being his boyfriend in the first place. Hinata couldn’t say no, which eventually led to Sora becoming his fake boyfriend. That is literally the entire plot of this story, going from fake lovers to real lovers.

The same thing happens with Miya when she confesses her feelings to him. He cannot say no because that is simply who Hinata is as a character. He might also think that saying no would hurt the person who had the courage to confess their feelings to him. While this can definitely be a double edged sword and isn’t fair to the other person because they aren’t getting a clear answer, it doesn’t make Hinata a pussy either.

If Hinata were the type of person who could easily say no, we wouldn’t even have this plot to begin with.

So please don’t call him a pussy. It’s disrespectful to the writer who created this character and completely misses the point of his character development. Hinata isn’t a pussy. He is slowly learning to become stronger and stand up for himself, and eventually, he does clear things up with Miya.

That growth is part of his journey, so please give the character a chance before judging him.

If you ever get the chance to visit Japan 🇯🇵, please do! Japanese people are some of the most respectful and polite people I’ve ever encountered. They are so punctual that their trains arrive almost to the exact second. People line up everywhere, and even their adorable animals seem polite too.

So when Hinata got a confession from Miya, a girl who likes him, I can imagine many people saying, “Why doesn’t he just say no?” But Hinata is such a kind hearted and innocent person that he was simply trying to be polite, just like many Japanese people are.

Of course, being polite can be a double edged sword. Being respectful and avoiding confrontation is one thing, but it can also unintentionally mislead someone when they aren’t given a straight answer.

That’s one of the reasons I love this remake. We get to learn more about Japanese culture and how those cultural traits are naturally blended into the story and Hinata’s character.

Their communication and the way they talked things through was absolutely spot on.

Natsuki told Sota that what he said when he confessed his feelings was true. Meanwhile, Sota explained that when he apologised back then, it wasn’t because he was rejecting Natsuki. He simply didn’t know what to say and was completely shocked in that moment.

What I love most about this drama is how realistic it feels. Instead of Sota suddenly accepting Natsuki’s love, he was honest and admitted that he likes Natsuki too, but he isn’t sure what kind of love it is. Is it brotherly love? Friendship? Or something more?

That is why he wants to spend more time with Natsuki and get to know him better before defining those feelings. And honestly, I think that makes their relationship even more beautiful. Love doesn’t always come with an immediate answer, and sometimes you need time to understand what your heart is really feeling.

This felt so powerful, genuine and different from the usual romance storyline. I’m really glad they chose to portray their feelings this way.

Now I absolutely cannot wait for their first date. I have a feeling it’s going to be everything.

@NLE Excellent post and your comment at the end here: "weak at the beginning, then later reveals that he's…
Thank you! I posted that comment more than a month ago, yet in the final episode, it was revealed that he was actually the smartest of them all. He is a self made millionaire, yet so many people looked down on him at the start. It just goes to show, never judge a book by its cover. That has always been one of my favorite sayings.

Jet is such a spoiled brat, and honestly, I am so heartbroken and angry watching everything unfold.

Years ago, he was gambling on sports, took out a loan from a shark, and left Little Jane to suffer and help clean up his mess. Now, years later, he has gotten himself into another huge mess. This time, it was not because he gambled again. He broke his agency rules and is now liable to pay 10 million baht, around $300k USD. His family has to sell their home and shop just to deal with the consequences of his actions. What hurts the most is that he does not even seem sorry. No remorse, no guilt, nothing. How many times does his family have to suffer because of his choices? At this point, maybe being jailed is the only way he will finally learn his lesson instead of continuing to destroy the lives of the people around him.

And my heart hurts even more for Big Jane and Little Jane. After five painfully long years apart, they finally found their way back to each other. We finally got to see them happy, reunited, and enjoying their precious time together on the yacht. For a moment, it felt like they could finally have the love and happiness they deserved.

But then Jet had to ruin everything.

Big Jane did absolutely nothing wrong. He has been doing everything he can to help the family, and he has already sacrificed so much for the people he loves. I completely understand why Little Jane feels guilty about Big Jane helping him. He loves Big Jane deeply, and I think part of him wants to prove that he is worthy of that love. He does not want to keep relying on Big Jane or feel like a burden to the person he loves most.

That is what makes this so heartbreaking. Neither Big Jane nor Little Jane is at fault. They are just two people who finally found their way back to each other after five years and were trying to build their happiness again.

The real problem is Jet.

One person’s selfish choices have once again shattered the happiness of everyone around him. And after everything Big Jane and Little Jane have been through, they deserved so much better than this. 💔

I’m so excited! We’ve seen countless times where Thai BL fans get the same couple paired together across multiple dramas, and now we’re finally getting our first Chinese BL with the same couple returning for a second show! Not only did we get our very first Chinese BL wedding in Bittersweet Love, but now Yan Rui Hao and Guan Yue are reunited for another series. I seriously cannot wait to see them together again!

You surprise me greatly; it's strange that you have such a repulsion for that particular body part. Your podophobia…
I 100% agree with you. I watched the entire series and really enjoyed it, it was just that particular scene that was not my thing either. I completely get your point and I agree with your perspective.

I’m Asian myself, and to me, it doesn’t even matter whether it was about hygiene or not. Having a student lick your feet in high school is an abuse of power. I would rather see the student get bullied or even hit than be forced to lick someone’s feet, especially since you mentioned it happened after playing soccer. Even if he washed his feet afterwards, it still wouldn’t make a difference to me.

And every time they replayed that flashback, it just put me off even more. I completely understand where you’re coming from, and I agree with your perspective on that scene.

I wrote that headline many weeks ago during their first time together, but now that I’ve finished the series, my perspective has changed, so let me change it.

Yes, just finished A Winter Sun and it was a 10/10 for me, but Deep In still wears the crown for me!
