What’s up with the changes it literally like day and night 😭🥲. I know it’s a bit early to judge but😭.First of all this is a remake so comparison is bound to happen and is almost inevitable.
Like the character Tor that man was straight about his motives , he was so focused on revenge in the first half that he was an epitome of red flag 🚩 ( no mixed signals ) . And then after his aunt was hurt on the ground of his vengeance, he decided to change for the good and became a complete green flag to Min throughout the last half.
Well Dai ghaozheng never fails with the character he’s supposed to play and I can see he did a really good job in adapting even the microexpression of the og . But the shifting is just not it.
Anyways if they are keen on not following the og one then they better omit the sleeping for revenge part too 😆😗 .

I’ve rewatched that many times but just skipping the scene to see his audacity of coming to her after sleeping with her sister 🥲( I didn’t even care if it was for revenge atp) . But what’s bothering me the most in this ver is FL is made to be even more desperate than min ( which she already was 😭) .

My only concern for this lol😭😂 . I stayed mad for it like my whole holidays

Hua Jai sila has been my up to date fav Thai drama 😩(an unbeatable one) . I still remember I watched that drama on Facebook and dramacool back then😂 ( strangely nostalgic 😌) . After completing the series , I immediately went into Instagram to follow Thanapob(Tor) and fern
(Min) lol😂. I even learnt *doja cat’s say so* TikTok challenge from Fern LMAO🤣.
And I wish this remake will keep the plot and basic as close as they can with the og one 🥹.

They painted the ML and his friend’s past so deep that it seems more like they are supposed to be the main leads lol. I never invested my time waiting for the airing of every episode for this damn plot gawd 🙂? They tried so hard to make it realistic and relatable, even to the extent of *unnecessary death of a character out of nowhere lol😗* . So If they are doing this they better keep this up till the last episode bcs if they are taking a 360 turn and painting it all magical fairy tale ending towards the last episode…..I swear iam completely signing off from jp dramas🙏🏻.
Conclusion: they are not at all right for each other and should never end up together . He is rather too occupied emotionally or physically to be available and sort out for her and she is too stupid and dumb for her own good but I really hope she grows a backbone rather than pushing herself to a man who is not worth it ; nah not even an ounce 🙁.

So can anyone update me on if the details are following the webtoon or the kdrama as the jp dramas are fast paced anyways so….
The kdrama’s deviation from the original storyline (in midway the episodes) seriously turned me off. The webtoon’s ending , do hyuk and nabi dating everything made it so real , mature and clearly was a snap for the * the toxic ⛳️ML can easily change his ways for an innocent FL * trope 😂.

Japanese dramas never fails to hit that nerve in me with their *almost perfect tsundere toxic irresistible * ML 😩. But I have this strong hunch that this may be beyond toxic 😭😂. I always preferred the 🥔 over the 🦋 to begin with so let’s see if my preference will remain same with this lol.🦦

Well your comment is half convincing and at least you certainly doesn’t sound like dumb or a novice on a k-survival show. But if you’ve watched most of the shows mentioned then you cannot say that they weren’t even close to brutal bcs those were some complete military training camp disguised in the name of survival show . And when I say the scene that was aired here in episode two is not even close to those of survival shows of older generations bcs those were some complete unfiltered shows and the mentors those times never took any shit from anyone. The trainees weren’t even allowed to seem offended or talk back , the teens that time were not overly exposed to makeup or dieting beforehand so there was a complete margin between naturally born pretty and the ones who were average looking . But that time visual were just 2ndary criteria , so if you are just a pretty vase hollow inside , then you were a straight no. So there’s a reason why older generations have some extremely talented and iconic figures who are average looking but with their own unique charm . These things simply tells a lot about survival shows . Seeing this way idols these days have it easy bcs you just have to be pretty with on some makeups with mediocre skills and that’s it you can simply get the heart of those stupid fans who values face card over skills .Due to this many of my babies were robbed ….The viewers of this show is also following the same *don’t wanna mention the particular trainee😗*
Now let me put forward some evidence of my claims , in fact if I dive into explaining ALL of them it would take up lot of my time so I’ll just mention some extreme ones. First of all the most brutal one on upmost shall be without any doubt ‘NO MERCY’ - show that made monsta x , with all the drama regarding suddenly introducing Changkyun ( now IM ) in the group when the group were all set for recording which led to my poor boy * only 19 yrs old at the time* being cornered , ignored . It still breaks my heart to rewatch some snippets of the show .
‘Six teen ‘- show that made twice . Do I even have to tell about this. The fat shaming , major minor class difference and some special major group treatment .Everything was okay but i lost it when the major team were alloted the practice room for like almost the whole day from 9AM to 9PM , on the contrary minor team were allowed the rest of the time that is the whole night 😑. The dorm difference, food difference, mentor difference, travel .How can I forget the fake out elimination that JYP is extremely good at 🙄. Everything was just too much that I doubt if it was those sensitive fans of this generation , they would straight up sue the production team for it 👀.
Idol school was one horrendous hell of a show , it felt so suffocating that some trainees even tried to escape . They weren’t allowed outside , were given such little amount of food which led them to health issues like irregular periods , the building they were living was newly built so there was strong paint smell which gave them rashes not to say there was only a little ventilation in the room.
Honorable mention - YG : win ( winner and Ikon) seriously made me cry ugly . That was easily the epitome of a k survival show . They were under such a pressure that I don’t think trainees these days can keep up with . They were supposed to rearrange the songs, create their own choreography , compose , prepare a performance for like every stage . Although it was brutal they were trained in every aspect and the result speaks the loudest 😗.
These same idols have been through every dire circumstances to become an idol and they became more strong willed as they advanced through their journey. Do ppl seriously think that idols don’t care , don’t witness / see or are not affected by their scandals , accusations , death threats , hate comments just bcs they are told not to step up ? As a human being they obviously care but are aware and trained enough to cope up with situations like these bcs they’ve had even worse phase during their trainee days . Same goes for the mentors too , as you know the mentors are either K-pop idol themselves or simply a celeb who for sure have experience as a trainee . No one can relate with those trainees as well as mentors bcs they themselves were in their shoes to get to where they are now at present day . The trainees are just some innocent kids who have common dream ,who still have vague ideas about the dark and inner side of the industry . The mentors who these fans are calling sadists knows how hard it is to survive in this industry and helps them train to cope up with their mental stability not just bcs they want to impose them for their own entertainment but bcs they completely emphatise with the trainees….
It is not just the trainees that are practising and hard working but the mentors in their assigned field too are doing the same thing in order to teach and guide them , Again it’s another untold scenes from behind 😀

I can’t speak enough about each of the shows bcs iam tired rn- well if you want to you can look up some scenes of those survival shows and if it’s not brutal enough there are still other shows like finding momoland, hot blood , mix and match , the unit.
Regarding practising the signal song within 24 hrs , this thing is still going on .

Mentioned I had always been concerned and a little uncomfortable regarding the treatment of global trainees *c-trainees in focus*, still remember during fantasy boys some k-trainees were just straight nasty….at first I was nervous for Gwan woo, Xing Xing and the other foreign trainees at the start level test but the situation turned out to be otherwise 🫤and that’s when I realised it was still *YWY but with a different name* so-
Everything that sums up does not even concern whether they are C, K , JP . I will give and keep my opinion again & again on how I felt watching the show based on the situation seen , just bcs my top3 pick here are Chinese doesn’t mean I will turn a blind eye to every BS going on by constantly defending and sugarcoating it 🙂.
I’ll always hype up any trainee who is up for the last swing be it from any groups or nationality bcs at the end of the day they will debut in a group regardless of nationality and yeah that’s how I think 😮‍💨.
Either way my pick always turns out to be chinese say it was *Zhou jieqiong , Su reiqi, xiaoting, cai bing ,Gua Lin ( he may be Taiwanese but yk🙄) , Hao, Ricky, Ollie, Zihao, ling qi, Bingfan , ling ling and even in the ongoing shows my top one pick are either chinese or Taiwanese * LOL . And you are making me look like someone who is biased against them LOL,so just get the facts straight before accusing me of painting them as villains or anything 😗 .I don’t harbour any hard feelings over them but I feel like if I continue with this show , I’ll end up disliking someone I would never want to .
There is 7 in 10 chance that there will be more ratio of Chinese members debuting here not to say their solid one pick fandoms and they sure won’t be the victim of evil edits bcs bruh it is still YWY spin off and original streaming partner is still iqiyi… by this perspective c-trainees are sure at an advantage . Lastly a K-pop group without a single Korean member will either be a J-pop, C-Pop, or simply Pop . It’s not that hard to understand or process it right?!
Let’s not be delusional at this point and learn to accept some facts . For instance ,netizens are still debating whether Katseye is K-pop or just pop even though they are trained according to K-pop standards and introduced themselves as K-pop while singing in complete English lyrics but still they have a K member .
Same goes with XG everyone’s Japanese trained under K-pop entertainment sings in Japanese, English and sometimes Korean lyrics but are torn between the genre K-pop or J-pop but almost every netizens puts them in the genre of J-pop . But imagine a scenario if there were Korean members , the scene would’ve completely different 🤡

Some ppl are too dumb , overly sensitive and are too new to survival show I guess .

Just a friendly reminder: overly sensitive ppl should stay away from k-survival shows and kindly see some teasers to make up your mind before next time for whatever you’re getting yourself into 🙂 . Only difference is that this show aired the hard practising scenes too and trust me when I say all the previous survival shows had situations like this too it’s just that those were not added in the episode 🙂.
.I have seen worse than this and the results are some big names in the industry *winner, ikon, skz, 2pm, twice, treasure ,mixnine, produce series* and you know what they say every hardship , all the brutal comments by the mentors they went through were worth it , in fact that slowly trained and prepared them to make them mentally strong which is a really necessary criteria in being a K-pop idol bcs they would be going through the main antagonists and the supporters who can simply change into the reason of their mental challenges overnight named *the fans * LOL🙄. By the mentoring many trainees had showed immense growth in their skills which even made them to get in the final debut line up .
Imo Choi young jun is perfect to be a mentor and this may be the reason he is in every survival show these eras bcs if there were no mentors like him and the final debut team were to be kept wholly in the hands of fans/ viewers , y’all would just stack up those AI visuals trainees in the line up lol🙂.

Trust me when I say the k-trainees in this batch are the most humble ones I’ve seen , they were never all about acting like they own the stage or they are pioneer or something…for sure they may have been introduced as them being the OG K-pop kids but it is a universal fact we can’t deny right?!
And my one pick has been a Chinese in most of survival show but sorry to say here some of them really can’t hide that they have some outmost insecurities within them that allows them to Belittle themselves by saying k-trainees are said to be very strong , they have to wipe them out from the upper ranking even when they are themselves some extremely talented individuals Lol. They packed some petty ego in their mind and directly advanced to attack k-trainees , sure this is a competition and them pushing someone out of the seat was inevitable but I really lost it when some of them confessed about the reason they went fir that particular trainee who happens to be a Korean LMAO. Among The trainees who were voting c-trainee was the majority and hell yeah they used that up to their advantage by desperately pushing the buttons numerous time just so that the 9 seaters would all be chinese*and they successfully did it* 🙄and passing some annoying nationality comments in between 👀.
And here y’all are questioning about why they were excited about the last k-trainee and hyping him up…So what they were supposed to do then ?
If it was the other way round all the k-trainees in the 9 seaters and just last one c-trainee was up for the challenge trust me y’all being the same person you’re would have easily praised the trainee for being brave and challenging the k-trainees in their own genre and now when the k-trainees are in the same situation , y’all are labelling it as some fight over nationality supremacy LOL the double standards is real🙂. And the last k -trainee to replace ying hao was not even a situation about some stupid nationality supremacy , that situation reached to the level where the concern about their pride was really necessary . Imagine in a genre of K-pop there is no single Korean member . This does not just apply to k-trainees but also every other trainees , the balance should be there bcs let’s just say if those c-trainees were to debut then it won’t even remain a K-pop 🙄. For instance 3 Korean, 4chinese and 1 jp/ Thai/ viet/ other -a well balanced one.

Fr I have this soft spot for Chinese trainees since the past survival shows.They have this undeniable talent that draws me in but trust me I couldn’t even get past the middle of the live of ep 2 bcs those c-trainees were pissing the sh*t out of me 😬. Everything was okay but I lost it when some of the trainees confessed their reason of snatching and targeting just the Koreans .
Also the c-trainees who were on the other stars seats *the voters who decided the seat snatching and Polaris * they were on the majority side and weren’t even hiding their insecurity against k-trainees LOL.They repeatedly voted for just the c-trainees who were up against k-trainees just to fulfill their god knows what *self proclaimed supremacy in stage of YWY* LMAO but trust me that just made them look pathetic to me.In fact I used to accept the fact that some k-trainees indeed mistreated some foreign trainees but never at this level. Not to mention the skill and talent margin is huge🫠.
The guy against Han gyul simply stated his reason of going up against Han gyul was bcs he wanted to protect his brothers aka wipe out all the k-trainees from the seats and that’s what they did exactly 🙄, we’ll see if they still remain brothers in upcoming challenges 🙂.
The other survival shows ongoing is proceeding in such a healthy competitive environment and iam loving it . There at least there’s no such self proclaimed egotistic ppl…
Don’t even let me get started on the public votes , I saw many threads of ziheng and he seemed really popular but turned he is @3 in real time rank 😑 , I only like him , yoo gwan woo and Xing xing * tbh I really liked them in YWY and honestly started this show for them , Han gyul , daeul , congB , ling qi * in terms of skill but still now I prefer ziheng over Xing Xing & yoo gwan woo bcs both of them somehow turned something off in me🙂. And the guy who has an AI face he is @20 LOL😑😑 . Pretty privilege
