Him doing his job is obligatory and if iam being a little bit sensitive about the way he is doing it that won’t affect the storyline at all as my sentiment is not an important one🫤, so rest assured . So instead of being dogmatic here , enjoy the drama and kindly don’t ruin it for me .
Saw many spoilers in weibo 😂 , I can understand Chinese a little bit as some of my friends are Chinese and not to mention I love CDramas😌. Observing the spoilers and putting them all together in my head , the reason of the breakup can be :Ml wanted to marry her as he proposed in public but FL wants to pursue her career or go to some other place like abroad or something for her career and asks ML to understand her and wait for her for like _ yrs but it seemed like ML was a bit immature and wanted to marry her as soon as possible and confronted her not considering his feelings and _ year is a bit too long and so on * iam not really sure if they mentioned about year for like how long to wait for*
After that it seemed like FL went abroad or maybe a place inside china itself but they were still in a relationship . One time when he FaceTimed her , he saw yi su behind her walking towards his room and ML questioned why were they arranged to share the place with boys . So after he came to visit her where she was at that time and was vlogging himself a video for her telling he reached and was in front of her building , angling the front camera towards her balcony but to his surprise he saw a man and a woman kissing which iam sure he misunderstood they were Xing ruo and Yi su . See it’s too early to blame FL for being this way when we haven’t watched her side of suffering and just bcs ML it’s acting like a puppy being clingy with no backbone and FL is not soft for him at all .Who knows maybe ML was more at the fault , he was young back then and immature but I guess he’s learn from his mistake, gave it a lot of though between their gap and is now seeking a 2nd chance in their relationship not to say there are so many references of him being short tempered and immature back then . On the contrary FL seems to have deep understanding and feelings for him but she just seems scared and hurt , so it shall take some time for her to simply embrace their halfcomings and fault in their relationship😌.
And about that intern girl , well she is problematic . In one spoiler there was scene where she and ML were at the seaside under a tent waiting for FL with the production and camera crew . And Ml asked whether she told the right location to Xing ruo but she was stuttering and it was getting dark so ML seemed really worried about FL , well the man he is 😩,he warned the intern and went searching for her in the forest 😭🫤. Those are just my speculations seeing the spoilers, it may not be completely accurate since they were mostly edits and some weird music were overpowering their dialogues 😅 but to some extent you can rely on my information.

It’s meant to be fictional , so it’s not wrong for me to hype a justice that comes in handy when this is simply impossible irl- 🫤 focusing on the ML whom I know is going to try all means to bring Bitna under the hands of law , the fact that he and the cops are suddenly so competent and trying all means to find evidence against the Gehenna stamp *serial killer * which is quite contrary to when they were dealing with the previous cases 🙄this really bothers me , to which iam aware the director made them like these but not everyone can be tolerant . Sure he is a cop and he is obliged to find these criminals but the way he’s doing it is straight up unprofessional * more like a one man army on a mission😗* bcs if you are comparing it to real life then rather on impulsively acting on his own every time it’s better if he bring his team or whatever , but no he is keen on getting evidence from Bitna by his own plans by approaching her and when he doesn’t feel like to find the evidence anymore, he just shuts her out . Also when he was disappointed seeing the coke bottle and asked her if she was the killer ; he clearly knew she was a demon so what did he expect 🙂 For sure , irl killing the murderer would be an easy way out but it was not in the case of this drama . Like I said this series is on the completely fictional side for me , so it’s completely normal if hyping Bitna being the judge she is bcs at the end of the day they themselves chose to be inhumane in first place so there’s no reason to treat them as human anymore. Yeah it’s in the first trailer too and I’ve been seeing many spoilers like ruo wen will help beicheng reclaim her place masui and i guess she will marry him in turn which makes him the new lord of masui * besides he was planning on attacking it in the initial episode to claim the tribe right* . In the ost and trailer both ruo wen and beicheng seems to be in a wedding attire of their desert plains and xinwei looks betrayed and heartbroken by ruo wen .And in one of the spoilers too xinwei was hanged with her hands tied in the city gate and netizens were speculating beicheng instigated that or something . Anyways I watch these all on the weibo by copy pasting the drama name in Chinese as English names don’t work there bcs that is a real and fast source 😂

I was all in for the romance when I started this drama and never in my sixth sense would have thought that started with all those bubbly and feel good genre will take a serious melo turn🥲. And after watching this week’s episode I’ve become more invested in how everything would turn out or how seok ryu , seung hyo, moeum and her families will handle the situation , but ofc still hoping that the drama will emphasise on the romance genre too but it has just become a secondary thing for me rn😭. And my gut feeling is telling me that the series will focus more on the ‘ family ‘ or ‘healing’ genre and will rush the romance in the later episodes which may be a turnoff for almost majority of viewers * up to this rating has dropped from 8.8/ 8.9 to 8.6*

Every man was a creep 🙂but anyways everyone served with their great acting skills. Yes, some scenes were hard to watch but cinematography and plot twist gave chills🤯. It’s just insane how the story was centered around for just like 2 days and they delivered so much more than that . Had difficulties understanding between the lines of their dialogues since they did not spoke much and just communicated with their eyes or pigeons 😭* may be an ancient thing to do🫠* but anyways i looked up some theories and finally got it . Again this was not about romance and I did not wish for it to be romantic at all but Queen and Eul pa seo had something undeniable ( it may not be on the romantic side , maybe more as a ruler and a subject ) , they deeply understood and cared for each other without exchanging any words . Besides the actual motive of Eul pa seo , he never betrayed her 🥲. At last him and queen had the same goal and according to the theories and flashbacks , hope it happened exactly 🙌🏻. Also really like the fact that each character in the series served their reason , the director has done a really good job at it . Even the like the most unimportant character had a whole sense for their existence in the plot and even their story could simply be adapted to a whole new protagonist . They showed the conclusion of every character beautifully, no one was left out . King was there throughout the whole series either as a flashback or a dead body, the shaman sa bi’s character was there in the last episode too even as a corpse, the head maid , the white tigers , the crown prince , the chief priest , forth prince’ wife everyone was included someway which was a plus point for me as most of the time the directors ends or exits a character after their part is finished serving the storyline for protagonist without their conclusion and this just leaves me to wondering what would have happened to them😗. Lastly idk why ppl are criticising the Fl bcs for me she did justice to the character although she looked really tiny to fit in the armor🥲. Her character was the simply the epitome of a female ruler 😩. But I was there till the end to witness a war , that simply would be the reason I would have rated it 10 but yeah they decided to end it that way😭😭.
