There are so many wonderful things to say about this show! I will simply say that it was incredibly heartwarming for me, and I enjoyed every single episode. I was already familiar with He Laoshi, Peng Yuchang, and Henry Lau…and I love them all. I specially started watching this because of Peng Peng. I didn’t know about Huang Laoshi before. Watching this show made me want to taste his cooking; it was a fantastic introduction to him. My respect and affection for everyone involved grew throughout the series. The animals were so cute and the editing of their thoughts was so funny. I also loved the guests and the villagers and the passersby…so many amazing people! A huge thank you to everyone who made this show possible!
