I'm only 20 episodes in but so far, this has been one of the few cdramas where I don't feel the need to skip anything, and where the development of the relationship seems natural and mature. Both leads are very transparent with their feelings in a way that's refreshing for romance dramas, and there are so many moments that make my heart flutter in the best way. It's wonderful.
Yes, there are frustrating moments when I feel like shaking certain characters, particularly the female lead sometimes, but never because I dislike her, and those moments never last long, so I wouldn’t really consider it an issue.
Plus, the OST is sublime. So, so, so good. As soon as I'm done with the series, I'm gonna have that OST on repeat.
All in all, I'm really enjoying this drama right now and I just needed to share that lol.
The most recent complaints being there's too much romance in this romcom is taking me out. Girl, it's a romcom, if it's not your thing, why did you bother? Blaming the show for being as advertised.
"I ordered a burger and they didn't give me fish." 🙄
The sister got off scot-free. That is my only beef with this drama.
I mean, I wouldn't say scot-free. She lost her iron grip on King Group and all her minions are now Guwon's minions. Also lost her marriage, not that it was much of a loss.
She was a cold, jealous and spiteful person but she lost her perfect little empire and learned to focus on what she did have--her son. I count that as a win lol.

It's ok show that has many flaws but is still watchable. I think that being overly praised and rated highly gives…
I really get tired of people who look at Hwaran as some competent girl boss when her employees are being abused and neglected and she views them as disposable property. Yes, Guwon is naive and needs to grow up, but Hwaran is on the exact opposite side where she is too cynical and it is crushing the people below her. Isn't the point to get to a happy medium? Which of them is likely to get there?
This is why the world is the way it is. It's run by people like Hwaran who get to remain at the top while squeezing the life from those beneath them but no one cares because they're good at keeping the profit margins high. Capitalism at its finest.
I for one am rooting for Guwon. He never planned to run the company (due to Hwaran's cruelty, I might add), and so he never bothered to learn. But now he realizes that he needs to step up and bring a humane touch, and I hope he figures out how to strike a balance between being good to those working under him, while making decisions that will help the King Group grow. Because I absolutely agree with him, there is no way someone so lacking in conscience as Hwaran should be allowed to be in charge of anything involving actual human beings.
Now for the love of God, why would Pyung Hwa not accept his feelings? Did I miss anything cause I'm dead mad at…
I think her self-esteem is low from everything with work and the pilot, so she doesn't think him getting involved with her is a good idea. She's pretty much said as much in previous episodes
Not watching this drama, saw on the news and checked this comment section. “I’m throwing my olive oil down…
I'm not going to defend anyone who is using this to be xenophobic but “The image of Arabs has been irreperabely ruined before my eyes because of online comments by teenagers on an Instagram post in 2023” must be the most facetious thing I've read all day. Especially in response to a targeted harassment campaign birthed by "The image of Arabs has been irreparably ruined because of a fictional side character from a silly romcom".
Those comments contain death threats and racist abuse among other things. They have been harassing people's business partners to affect their livelihoods. They're even messing with the reputations of unrelated businesses, including small restaurants. This is not just online comments by teens. It is an organized and vile attack on real life people, and you should be ashamed of yourself for writing it off as "comments by teens on an instagram post".

I apologize on behalf of other arabs who misbehaved, im arabic and i understand both sides ! Really! I apologize…
I respect your opinion and your cultural perspective but to most of us, Samir is not a bad guy. At the end, it even seems that he and the lead are friends. He's not an alcoholic either, so I don’t know where people are getting that from. Is he framed as a womanizer? Yes. Is that offensive to a culture that is conservative? Yes. But in his own words, "there's nothing wrong with being popular".
All that said, I hope media will be more careful in how they portray cultures going forward, and I hope that the harassment campaign can end now. There have been three apologies and they are trying to edit as best they can. At this point, it's overkill.
Ok, I waited to post my comment until things died down. I do respect those who are feeling a certain way and again,…
It really took me by surprise lol. At first I was squealing because they finally took it there but then he tugged on that lip and a shockwave went through me. Legendary kiss. 🔥
why are there so many negative comments? and why is everyone over analysing literally everything from 2 episodes?…
The people in all those other shows were not LITERALLY eight years old. "He made her feel like she was really twelve and not an adult in a kid's body." That's not weird to you? That she felt like an adult until she started crushing on a literal pre-pubescent child? I get it if she just felt bad for him and wanted to keep her promise to not leave him adrift in the world. That's allowed between adults and kids. You can bond with a kid and promise to not leave them alone like with her niece in her previous life. But the attempt to hint at anything romantic between them when he was EIGHT is gross. Hell, even as a twelve year old, I viewed eight year olds as kids and wasn't interested in them like that. That's weird to me.
As for the time jump, it's fine that she's centuries old and he's 32 (?) because at least he's an adult. I really have no problem with that age gap. Well, beyond the fact that I am in no way convinced that SHS is 24 years old. But that's just suspension of disbelief, so 🤷🏽♀️
I'm with you. They can't expect us to believe that she was still samchon to that lady at eight but that she isn't the same person. Either she is or she isn't. To me, she's an immortal being who only remembers who they are a few years into their reincarnation. Once they remember though, they are that person as a person is the sum of their memories. And having memories of going to war, having kids, being an adult and therefore much more mature than an eight year-old, and then crushing on said eight year old because they make you feel like you're actually twelve? Gross.

Stiff male lead, though? Heh. Sure, Jan.
