I believe there's a spin-off. Most streaming sites didn't show, but on Viu (where I watch it), there's a "end-credit scene" where it teases a continuation (S2), and also a spin-off movie premiering as a "CNY movie". The name is 大奉打更人之世间无我这般人, loosely translated to "No One Like Me".

It reveals the "back-facing guy" face too.
