Looking forward.to a season 2. Im sure the ML will have character development. Clearly there is going to be a Zombie apocolypse and they may be loyal to the FL. This bond between the ML and FL is a forbidden one since they represent the opposite sides but theu may also reconnect the bonds of Yokai and humans. The show reminds me of the Hollywood film "The Underworld". I appreciated the mixed race friendship and all the other chracters were okay.

While I love both C- and J-dramas, I don’t agree with you that K-dramas don’t know how to show strong emotions
Shows like "Scarletheart Reo" or Decendants of the sun" or "Red sleeve" were awesome kdramas These shows are examples that can pull the heartstrings. Badly made kdramas imo are like "King the land", "My Demon" and "Destined with you" the plots didn't make sense and had no real impact. I judge my shows based on rewatch values . Additionally, the comedy can be really irritating, so Ive started skipping them.

The kdramas of the past definitly showed emotions . the ones of today arent prevalent and strong,imo.
