Good point but let's take LLTG for example. Both leads did not know love, hell the ML had a horrible childhood but their slow burn was off the charts even when they were just strangers. I am just trying to make a point that this set up is not new but it is handled badly by the Director since LOVE is the other side of the coin for this drama.

Ahh glad somebody discussed this, I have been wondering the same for so long. Title is Sword and BELOVED, prophecy is "unstoppable in love". My question is WHERE IS THE LOVE? They feel like bosom friends rather than two people in slow burn. this not the first drama to capture slow burn for couples with obstacles but here it is dead especially after ep 13. Even their reunion fell flat. Director should be sued.

Soft voice is not the issue, its feel flat in many scenes.

I started the drama last night, finished 4 eps up till 4 am and I am dying, somebody save me. I missed Cheng Yi so much. Only thing I dislike is the VA. Does not suit either him or the character.

why would they do that to their own drama?

Ahh got it. thanks. Yeah sometimes too much refining takes away the authenticity of the characters but natural reasons like hot humid weather can be a justifiable reason to use the filter.

Yes its neither showing in the eps list nor at the top where full eps count is shown. Bloody hell I have been waiting for all last eps to come out and now this nonsense.

Why does Netflix show 32 eps when MDL shows 36. What is the actual count?

He is an amazing actor, the biggest strength of TTEOTM was him.

After the massive success, comments by viewers on MDL I was afraid to start the drama coz my expectations had gone so high plus I thought maybe I won't be able to understand the complexities of the characters. BUT ...wow what a drama, I have never seen a more classy, tightly scripted modern series. I have binge watched and not even realise that I am on ep 17. Hats off to the production team, crew and all the actors for pulling this off. Off to watch the remaining eps.

I am watching on Viki too and on ep 17..no problem with subtitles.

Hmm not really, if I have seen him as a supporting cast in a drama I don't remember.
