I am jinxed when it comes to this drama. I started this several times but had to drop as I could not find any site to watch. It was not on Viki, Netflix and I did not know any good pirated sites for Cdrama. Youtube had only few free episodes. I even thought to take IQ membership but something went wrong there too. Finally when I started watching on a site that shall not be named and I think I reached ep 30 or so, had to again stop coz subtitles started going crazy, I could not understand half the time what they were talking about. So let's c when I will be able to watch this drama in peace with proper subtitles.

Do that, it's one of my fav comfort drama. I don't know how many times I have watched it.

I don't know if you have watched Who Rules the world, but Chen Zhou couple gave me the same vibe as lead couple in that drama.

Absolutely, once his screen time increased I was rewatching his scenes. His acting, expressions were incredible. His slight smile as if he knows a secret. Cheng Yi rocks in such roles.

The characters who finally made me cry, touched my heart and became the reason why I finished the drama was Li Chen Zhou and Rong. Ep 39 & 40 they both made me cry. For me Chen Zhou character surpassed Qiu Shui.

I don't get it too but I guess the mentality at the time was that the men see a woman naked and will give in to their basic instincts. Plus women thought their beauty and body were there only asset.

Wang Ling Lu's character Bao Bao in Nobody is so iconic & I love it so much that I am unable to imagine her in other roles. The moment I see her I see Bao Bao. It's frustrating.

In the end it all boils down to simple human decency, compassion and having a conscience. Disrespecting the dead in this way is the worst a human being can stoop to. There are many actual injustices happening everyday, I can guarantee none of these people would have balls to stand upto that.

Yeah true...you want your fav's to shine. Other than that I don't care for every other drama.

Yes, he is addictive. I still sometimes go and check out only his scenes in Immortal Samsara. Have fun watching Cheng Yi dramas..

It reminds me of Moonlight Mystique in that way.

I am truly amazed with the categories available in China to rank a drama. View count, heat index, character ranking and now I am seeing this bullet screen for the first time. Whats next?

Stand by me is in my watchlist. No worries I will watch the drama since it is Cheng Yi, cannot miss him. Anime type wardrobe is not a problem for me but this was not it or maybe it was executed too poorly to enjoy.

You are right, 99.9% of the times I don't share my feelings coz of the people I have blocked. I will watch the drama coz I truly am crazy about Cheng Yi and I think that is why I was so upset coz I have been waiting forever for his drama. Anyways, at this point I am watching Fated hearts and looking for something like that or a Wuxia. I am watching Prisoner of Beauty too though it hasn't touched me as much.

It's not surprising that my opinions not only have been misinterpreted but blown out of proportion. Who made you judge, jury and executioner? Except for ASmith and Darklight I have blocked each person as its not me but you guys are toxic. I am crazy about Cheng Yi but that does not mean I cannot dislike certain parts of a drama. Unbelievable!!

I was just rewatching the drama and the dinner scene with Ling Buyi though it is a funny scene, I actual feel bad for Ling Buyi and also wonder how come no one in the family noticed his discomfort and only thought of their own fear which again I felt was extreme. Cheng family was such a mix of brave and kind people so this scene left a little bad taste in my mouth.

I have watched 4 eps and except for Cheng Yi, all actors are so bland that its shocking. Plus someone fire Cheng YI's designer and make up artist for this drama, half the time he looked like playing dress up as a woman. I rarely get angry and vent online but this was horrible. I have been dying to watch a Cheng Yi historical, so very disappointed.
