Its like you read my mind word to word, I came to express something similar after watching eps7&8. First is the part where you show a strong, smart FL and then you are constantly having confrontations which don't make sense. FL is such a powerful character & I love it so don't make a mockery of it now. Every second the partnership is recapped with similar words. There is no meaningful conversation beyond that. Second, you show ML to be this badass and suddenly he is all understanding, kind, tolerant. WTF? its just 8 eps and he is already tamed. Third, imbalance b/w leads in FL centric dramas is something I have been getting irritated more and more in Cdramas to the point that the ML is just a prop. If thats the case then either don't add romance or do something like Joy of life. I am still loving the show and very excited about the Xia and Princess romance. I just hope things improve on these points. BTW I think the one who shot arrow was strategy brother (forgot his name)

What I feel from the 6eps that I have seen is that Dad is good. He wants ML to overcome obstacles but his way of doing it is harsh. But who knows?

I think people talk about age coz they don't have anything constructive to add, they are stuck in their narrow mindset and feel superior in that. The moment a comment starts talking shit, I either ignore or in extreme cases block the person. There is endless negativity all around so we don't need it in a place where people like us come to enjoy dramas and express their genuine views. I wish there was a way to filter such comments before my eyes hits them. In today's age they are a curse to humanity.

Actually I have never understood this logic that just cause they are parents they get free pass to do shitty things which are unforgivable but a child is expected to not only forgive but live happily with them. Very rare you see in a drama where a child actually leave their sucky parents to rot.
