'No chemistry' per MDL's comments is often something unrelated to the drama itself. Usually uttered by: Fans of other actors that did not get the same hype, reaction and likes as Perfect Crown get. Die hard shippers of previous drama, who cannot tell the difference between fact and fiction, be stubborn about their imaginative pairing and hating the next co-star. Jelly people, who want their bias to always be on the top ranking and get upset when it is not happening. Trolls, who have boring or pathetic real life and want to vent their frustration online. Hate watchers, the latest trend of people who watch dramas to hate on them and make hate comments to find their 'allies' and be glad from ruining other viewers's mood
Yes, but Youku apps has incoming dramas for me to reserve. Not this one. I know MDL only listed Youku China as the airing platform, but I thought maybe it will be added later. So sad. I will resort to bootlegging then. Wuxia is my most fave genre.
Youku international still has not added this drama to its platform. I have been refreshing diligently. I hope they realise that they are losing money from international fans. Hate to do this but I may resort to bootlegging or I have to drop this drama π₯²
People who watched the drama up to episode 10 will know exactly that there is no such things as love triangle…
IKR. Their 'critics' feel like some copy paste from other hate comments. They likely did not know the story background or drama knowledge to make a valid argument or a simple discussion. They just hate and spout nonsense.

MBC Drama Screenplay Competition is considered highly prestigious and is a leading gateway for aspiring screenwriters in South Korea. It is renowned for identifying fresh talent and producing high-quality original dramas that often feature top-tier actors and achieve significant viewership. (Easily found on Google)
I suppose for you, you are the 'high standard' in judging a screenplay winner π
The script is actually an MBC winning screenplay and PC is a very entertaining romcom. IU is a versatile and professional actress and I reckon she knows what she is doing. Your comment is weird, for a fan, assuming you are one.

I should have added controlling the throne next to the power. While Huiju wanted the status so she could expand the company without any 'restriction from the elite', she never wants anything related to the power in the palace, like the Yun family.
Sorry for leaving the details out. I realised after rereading my comment. Got to sleep now. See u tomorrow.

Yes, Huiju married for status and fell for IAN after knowing him more.
I highlighted IAN as the one entering the marriage for love. The difference between Huiju and QM for him. Huiju is the one and only love while QM is a friend then a sister in law

A bit of correction there. IAN falls in love with a smart brave girl who is not afraid to say what she knows is right. He agreed to have a marriage contract with her because she is always the one he loves. For IAN, it was never a pretense. Yes, the main plot is marriage contract but PC is different because for him, it is always love and real marriage.
Honest question - is there any specific reason why so many people seem to ship I-An with the Queen Mother?I'm…
People who watched the drama up to episode 10 will know exactly that there is no such things as love triangle in this drama, or even a slightest implication or hint.
The Grand Prince has only been in love with Huiju since school time. He never dated or loved anyone else. This is said in the scene and by himself.
Not sure why some people came up with such ridiculous 'coupling'. Maybe from watching clips on social medias instead of the drama itself? Or maybe there is no friendship in their dictionary or they think that if a man being kind or smile at a woman, then it is love?
IAN loves passionately and wholly. He got jealous at PM, possessive towards Huiju, put himself in danger for her and literally broke down and cried when she asked for a divorce. He even finally made his move and asked for his throne, so he could protect her. That is love, and only love for him.
I am anti love triangle trope, so I would have dropped this drama if such ridiculous entanglement between in laws occured.
Simple answer is No. Ian would never fall in love with such an ambitious girl who would marry someone she does not love for the power of controlling the palace (added) My apology for the rant ππ»

If they could just have Netflix or Disney air all the dramas for ifans.
I suppose they do not need us π
I recall they did it before. Aired the drama at 6 CT but never announced it. I forgot the drama name, but it was also aired on CCTV
I used to sub VIU. I suppose I have do re-sub it.
Thanks for the info

The queen mother has liked IAN since many years ago. Her character details say that much
