I was just curious. Not a fan of reviews, ever since trolls swarming MDL.
Then I was upset but at the end I am just baffled.
I suppose I can never understand how their brains work, having so much hate against a drama, a fiction meant for entertainment purpose and the actors who never hurt them in real life.
Not going to try to understand either. Negativities should be avoided.

I rewatched Veil of Shadows again last night, fast forwarded all but JiLu's scenes.
Episode 7, where Jiling the dragon deity could not help but allowing Lu Wuyi to get close to him and she did not waste the chance, even though it lasted too soon before he pushed her.

JiLu's love story was so beautiful I really liked it that the director let them be together in their own world, away from the others. They really needed it, quality time, just the two of them, after all the suffering in the past.
I am so selfish when it comes to my Jiling + Lu Wuyi couple 💕

MDL is not affiliated to any of the airing platforms. It is made by fans for fans and managed by volunteers. It used to be a site for drama recommendation but with the increasing number of trolls in the last 2 years, some MDL old timer users even made a joke and said 'give dramas with rating 7 a go, since it means that it is very popular that haters made sure the rating is always low.

So, even if this drama is rated 6 or lower on MDL, it matters not for the drama itself, the actors, and the people who pay to watch it.
This drama is the most popular drama for its airing slot and keeps topping the chart from week 1 airing.

I like connecting dots but I can also miss some details.

IU is award winning actress, and a multi talented artist. She is also great in marketing her abilities, a special talent not owned by her peers.
IU is the whole package.
Haters came to her because she ruined their awful hope of having her drama a flop or that her chemistry with all her co-stars are always great. It is likely worse with Byeon Wooseok since he actually agreed to join this drama because IU is the FL.

Patience is a virtue.
Especially when you are watching an ongoing drama.
If you wish to have all clues and answers to be dropped at your own pace, then it is recommended for you to watch a finished drama instead, so you cannot spoil those who enjoy talking about the current plots on MDL page with your constant complaints about something not yet aired.
Normalise decency.
If you do not like this drama, simply move on and find the drama you like.
A drama page is not a bin for you to trash hating or an airport for you to come just to say goodbye.
