Equal billing does not mean same portion of screen time. You must be joking if you think Edward Guo would care about both couple getting exactly the same allocated time just to keep 'their shippers' happy.
He has more to think about, as in, how to keep viewers using our brains to figure out the what and how till the end of the story or to make us worry and get wrinkles (Pun intended)
Quality matters more than quantity. Great acting skills and chemistry would reach viewers's heart better than 'boring episode' (not that this drama has any).
Every single character in this drama is important, not just the main 4. Let us just love both couple or if you can only love one more, just talk about them without belittling the others. Peace.

Please do not generalise viewers with 'you all are' here. I might have missed it but as far as I read, no JiLu fans have been 'badmouthing' WuWu or complain about the airing time here. If we want to be honest, there were WuWu fans who complained about the screen time that some users needed to ask them to stop.
Equal billing does not mean exactly 50-50 in the screen time. Both couple had their turn on the screen and according to how they fit into the story. Peace.
