I love HE so it is nice to read that this sequel will end with a HE. That and Li Yunrui are the reason I started this drama. Now I am feeling glad that I did not watch PA since I am free from comparing anything and just 'judge' this drama on its own.

I am already spoiled by the recent drama's beautiful cimematography so any dramas from about a decade ago feel 'ancient' 😂😂 I do not even rewatch my fave dramas if the picture quality is old, no matter how fabulous or 'legend' they were.
Watched 4 episodes and will continue watching. - Started for Xiaolin. Liked him since Blossom. He has not failed me 😊 - not a fan of love triangle and Zhang Kangle is a cutie to be disliked (anyone goes against ML's wish is my enemy 🤭). I am glad that it is not the case. - did not watch PA or plan to, since it was produced almost 10 years ago. I reckon it is a marvelous drama (with amazing castline) but the production quality was as expected from that year (watched some scenes of episodes randomly) - watched the FL for the very first time and based on the character personalities, the actress has so far portrayed her role nicely. I saw the clips where she trained hard in BTS and it paid off on screen. The fight scene with General Huan was good. The sword plays really delivered. My wuxia (martial arts related) heart always prefers hand-in-hand combat style. - the first episode was rather fast paced with story of the past which made it feel like a messy plot being thrown my way but with more episodes, the story started to build nicely.

I think Shiguang was the 'secret weapon' after Shenlong (Jiling) fell from the dragon throne but I have to watch more to know more and I was only able to watch the first minutes of ep 16 🥲 Working sucks! Netflix watching should be included 😂
Jiling could not help but feeling so sad, not only because he had to subdue Wuyi, but because the only reason she could submit to his word magic was that she was no longer on guard against him. She abandoned him before because he was such a pure bright & warm being in her cold world. He was leaving her behind now because it was an unpredictable dangerous life he had to deal with. He was still Shenlong, placed on the dragon throne for a purpose, so as much as he loved her, he had his duties in protecting the world as his priority.
Gawd! This drama is so addicting and the romance is insanely romancing!
