You can pay TVOD one time for all episodes instead of per episode. For me, it is more practical. Express should ne paid once Youku release the rest of the episodes. Youku does set 3 payment system. In comparison, WeTV has 2 payment system.

Sword and Beloved fell apart because they took Cheng Yi out of 8-10 episodes and promoted the supporting actor which character and plot were not even in the original story. Fans always do that. But this is not the first time it happened. I recalled Luo Yunxi's popular drama also 'suffered' the same 1 episode per day nearing the ending. And as for getting more profit, with 29 episodes only, it makes sense that they do that, as in comparison to a much longer episodes, as painful as I have to acknowledge this 🥲
I really like the first episode. Yes, it feels cliché and dramatic but it is very entertaining and the plot is acceptable. A very confident smart young woman whose entire life was 'tainted' by her origin. People around her kept reminding her past like it was a 'plague'. The perfectionist Huiju really wanted to get rid of that 'imperfection' factor. A handsome intelligent prince who had to keep his life 'as mundane as possible' so he would not outshine the one on the throne. Cliché and dramatic are the perfect trope for the beginning of the story. Love, angst and other emotions would be added to the romance trope and make the story more realistic, as realistic as fiction could be. IU and Byeon Wooseok delivered! Cannot wait for more of them.
