The use of the sword is not similar and the characters are different, ML, FL, SML or SFL. There are 2 couples in Goblin while FoF has 1 couple only. FL in Goblin was very young so their earlier romance felt platonic and improved when she turned an adult while ML & FL in FoF have started acting like old married couple before even confessing their love to each other.
You call them similar but here are tons of differences to call them not similar. The difference lies in what you are focusing on finding.
GJM must somehow know how fans love this drama like crazy (1000 comments per day on MDL in the last few days) and what kind of wraths he would face from fans if he ended the story in episode 34 🫢
