Production should give them chances to gather money, write and direct the version of the drama according to their vision and let their idol be the ML, SML and villain so there would be no other character as their fave competitor. He noticed how devastated she was, crying secretly for missing ZYZ and was worried about her. When he saw her smiling at the prospect of saving ZYZ, at how bright her smile was, he looked at her feeling guilty, since he was going to kill the being she loved.
They grew up together and had strong bond of a sister and younger brother. And WX had always been a bit 'naughty' compared to the super serious Yichen, so her being 'frivolous' could not be a new thing for him. The way he disliked ZYZ staying close to WX was also more of a brother (or nephew) which sister (or aunt) was getting a demon of a beau.
And the slow burn love between ML and FL is so sweet and heart fluttering, even with minimum skinship. The chemistry is on fire in the last episode, with them finally knowing each other's feelings. IMHO.
Episode 23 is just perfect. ZYZ and WX's angst from being separated, even before acknowledging the love for each other, is very vivid. Her soundless cries, the eyes that showed the heart breaking from not knowing his fate and the happiness from having a hope. Chen Duling is the queen! His determination not to be swayed, the longing from missing his beloved and pain from being burned within. Thumbs up for Neo Hou. A villaneous protag will be perfect for him. Their skinship is just touching each other cheek but the chemistry is so darn electrifying. Their eyes and smiles deliver so much affection I am so in love with this couple.
No words for Tian Jiarui. He is flawless as Zhou Yichen, the softie with cold demeanor.

But Li Lun hated the humans and killed also innocent humans in his revenge of bad human behaviour. He started to get suspicious that ZYZ liked humans more than demons because he protected a human from his bloodthirsty act and hit him instead. It was LL own fault that caused his own end not ZYZ, but he was too twisted to even know that
Li Lun was like a child who had lost his best friend and felt miserable for along time and never wanted anyone else to feel happy with the friend who 'betrayed' him.
He may not be gone yet but it was so darn satisfying watching him lose the battle of wits against Wen Xiao. WX maybe a weak human without the Baize token but she was smarter than the demon 👏👏
Yan An is so hawt and gorgeous but I hope the petty twisted Li Lun is gone forever soon.
