He can show pain, happiness, anger, desparation, desire from his eyes only.
A very well written character surely helps a lot too.

I LOVE The Blood of Youth and the martial arts styles there. For me, the action scenes in this drama are so far so good and I like the use of CGI here.
Demons = ugly, horns, tail, claws, fangs, scary red eyes ❌ Makes you want to run away, far far away Demons = very handsome, long silky hair, exposed sculpted chest and abs & sparkly eyes ✅ Makes you want to be the assistant.

To protect his woman, he fought the enemies with his excellent martial arts styles and the outstanding court politics knowledge.
To woo the only woman he wanted to love and live with, he recited poetry. When she did not understand the words, he promised her that he would tell her the meaning after all problems were sorted out, implying a more intimate moment.
The poetry that would make her melt on that promised day, conveying a pledge of one and only love.
