How did you come with a wish for fiery romance between the leads? They were 'siblings' for her before.
I wonder if you skipped scenes while watching for you to even think that way 🤔 You can wish for them to have another project with whole romance as its genre, but this drama is great the way it is now.

And she talked according to the script, the pace and emotions needed. She spoke calmly and screamed loudly based on the required situations. Yes she really needed to call him third brother or mentioned his name when the scenes deemed so. Everything was scripted and she has done a good job as Luo Yining.

She is shy and is not yet ready to listen to his confession. That is how this drama is so well written, since her reaction is natural and accordingly. She starting to feel conscious having a close proximity with him or with their skinship indicates that she is feeling something but since she is used to regard him as a brother, she is still confused of what to do and how to react.
It was the same with Shenyuan before. He did not fall in love with her just because he knew she was not his sibling, but after spending time with her.
