To each their own indeed For me, Ren Min has done a good job portraying the girl with a weak body but strong mind and very perceptive. Who is LZY? Shenli FL? I like her too. I do not really care about the similarities in plotline. I remember when I used to watch wuxia in high schools. The dramas have similarities and I love them all. I even watched all (most) versions of To Liong To 😂

Yes, I am aware of a harem that can consist of hundreds of women but then she is new, young and beautiful and even favoured by the emperor, more than the Empress Deija was (quoted: eunuch) so it does not make sense that he leaves her 'pure'.

The same thing with how MJH character has changed, from the ruthless villainous kind of prince in the earlier episodes to someone different later on. I cannot really point out how but it still feels off. He can still be a softie to the ones he loves but remain cold, like Shangjue in My Journey to You.

And I do not blame him for failing to love Chen Lan. But he should not have written the letter and kept it, only for his wife to find and secure it as the 'weapon'
