I haven't got my hands on the novel yet. I usually watch a live action after a novel but rarely the other way around.
Once I deem the live action is awesome enough, I decide to be happy without reading the novel.
And I am so in love with TBOY.

It is told in TBOY, not the actual scene since Prince Langya is already dead 😭
So I assume we will have the actual scene in DY.
Or maybe it remains a sad story since we only have 15 episodes left and so many things unfolded.

Tang Lian's first master was Tang Lianyue, who taught him all the Tang's secret weapons.
Baili Dongjun is his 2nd master.
Lei Wujie's sister, Li Hanyi and Dongjun were both Mr Li/Nangong Chunshui's disciples thus the similar sword style.

It was actually Xiao Ruofeng's name written on the dragon scroll. The emperor always favoured the very smart and kind 9th prince. Ruofeng was also the most loved character.
But he never wished to be an emperor so he tore the scroll and announced his blood brother he has been supporting and helping, Roujin as emperor.
Unfortunately, the head eunuch opened the copy to the scroll and started the scheme to enthrone Prince Langya.

Yep. I haven't seen any DY2 anywhere.
I hope the director will not rush the ending just to meet TBOY timeline.
I would love to watch Prince Langya story.

More fighting and less talking is indeed essential for the next 15 episodes.
I love this drama but somehow the pace for the plot to work is getting rather slow
There are so many stories need to unfold, with the big battle ahead.
If there is a DY2 then I can understand the delay but I think the next project should be TBOY2.
So many things happen before DY ending meets TBOY beginning but it feels like we need another 40 episodes with the slow progress.

Xiao Ruofeng is my fave 8 young master, with Liu Yue (love them all too)

TBOY tells how great Prince Langya was but Dashing Youth shows why he is a great person, smart, talented yet a kind prince.
Xiao Ruofeng was respected by his fellow martial artists, adored by Beili people and even be the chosen one by his paranoid father.

Ruofeng kept Dingzhi safe and ensured nothing happened to the Baili House.
Roujin would have them killed if he was aware of the whole situation.

Dashing Youth is prequel to The Blood of Youth

Yue Yao is Baili Dongjun's only love & wife.
Yin Luoxia (Wushang city's lover) is her best friend whose name she used when she decided to join the Jixia academy competition.
They are 2 different characters, and meet in Dashing Youth.

The bride snatching did not go well.
Wenjun had a son with Roujin.
Dingzhi and Wenjun escaped the palace after that and had Wuxin.
She was tricked and was back to stay at the palace for a long time

I suppose I better stay away from those cdrama girlies 😅

She stayed because that was the only way for that crazy Yu to keep the prince title.
Wenjun was doomed to live in a cage, living a lonely life.
She was before at the sect and then in the palace.
Well... At least she is free at the end of TBOY.

She was tricked to go back to the palace thinking Xiao Yu was severely ill.
After that YDZ died.
She only had her sons.
She was forced to stay in the palace for that crazy Yu, to ensure the status he loves so much and for Wuxin safety outside.

I feel so sorry that the beautiful Wenjun receives many hates.
She loves only YDZ but has a marriage arrangement with XRJ, for mutual power between the empire and Shadow sect.
She never wanted the marriage and even tried to leave the palace.
Her own father rendered her powerless for trying.
Yes she later births the most obnoxious crazy son ever, but she also gives me Wuxin, the lovable character.

I cannot unsee that 😂
Luo He is tall, handsome and slim.
He does not need that ridiculous obvious muscle suit to stand out.
I wonder if the character is muscly in the novel 🤔

My heart breaks for him.
I hope they will have a happy ending in DY and let his most painful moment be in between the dramas.
