She does look cute either way. But I also have natural curly hair and I hate it when they depict it as this ugly hair that needs to be changed. I wish they showed her confident but still keeping the curls.
I loved it more than the Korean version and want to rate it higher than that but this thing below in the spoilers…
Everything was perfect except that Ai's hair didn't turn back to it's original curly hair. That was one of my favourite things about the original kdrama. Here I saw that she got her freckles back when Sosuke came back to Japan but didn't get the curls back. Am I missing something?

I love this couple so much, they are so cute. And the ending of ep 3 was so good.
I loved how Koichi thought that he got into his job to save Saki. So romantic. <3
Ah, but I'm heartbroken already, seeing Koichi will meet Saki's ex and think that she could have marry anybody. I know they will surely clear the misunderstanding, but I came to like Koichi so much I don't want him to get heartbroken even if it's only for a little while.
I was so looking forward it because it is a rom-com with Satomi Ishihara and Ayano Go, but after watching the first episode I might drop it as well. It looks like they just copied K-dramas; stereotypical cold male lead who is only definied by one traumatic event in the past, possibly there will be a connection between the leads from the childhood traumatic event and long meaningless time-stop shots where they get physically close and stare at each other. I hope copying K-dramas doesn't become a trend and Japanese dramas continue to keep their own color and make Japanese-style dramas.
What are his best works? I have seen 3 Nen A Gumi, Jimi Ni Sugoi, Todome No Kiss, Drowning Love, Death Note.Planning…
For drama: Mondai no Aru Restaurant is also quite good.
For movies: My Little Monster is a classic cute shoujo.
Teiichi's Country is very funny, highly recommended (and full of ikemens:)).
Love at Least is a heavy movie about depression, but it was a very good one in my opinion.
Chocolietta is a quiet and long indie movie, personally I enjoyed it.
And Pink and Gray, I thought it was amazing, it is a very unique movie but it is not everyone's cup of coffee and it has some mature scenes I should warn you.
Why did the rating in here go down from 8.1 to 7.8 after ep 9? I think this drama does a good job touching some…
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with the second part of ep 9 at first too. I thought it was a bit forced and just to create tension before the last episode. But episode 10 was soo good again, and they managed to continue so well from ep 9 showing that it was Aobayashi's personality. So, now with ep 10, ep 9 doesn't feel forced anymore, because it makes sense with Aobayashi's personality. All episodes of this drama was so perfect I loved it sooo much! <3
