Yeah, same for me the scene felt like a small nod of support. Imagine how shocked they must have been when their support was turned to opposite because of translation and people who want to believe what they want to believe.

In Korea celebrities try not to make comments about political matters. Korean public also doesn’t want them to. Anything they say now will be used against them, so it’s best for them to stay silent and let everything pass now.

Plus, it is an issue with the translation. They don’t have a right to publicly criticise the translator, they don’t work together with the translator. The translator is unrelated to the drama company. We don’t know what kind of contract producers signed with the ott platform. So, they are not in a position to openly shame the translator. Also, especially in this case the translator can easily claim it was an innocent mistake.

Wow what I don’t understand is it’s been explained over and over again that what the speaker said can go either way. And the news screen said Izmael kidnapped and arrow showing Izmael attacked. So, why are people just ignoring this and blindly forcing hate for the drama still?

I was also thinking like you, but one thing makes me pause is the fact that fake SE is not related to the fisherman and it seems like he find him and saved him and raised him. So, could it be possible that the fake SE was one of the twins in the orphanage and he went missing and the real SE tried to kill him but failed somehow and since the fisherman took care of the children real SE killed, he found fake SE still alive and saved him from the black bag just like he saved real SE later and afterwards he started raising fake SE?

But there is also the age thing. Here, the document showed that DJ is 32 years old (idk if it's Korean or international age). Earlier on another document Heejo was born in 1996, so 28 in international age and 29 in Korean age. In the novel there is a 6 year age difference between SE and HJ; but I don't know if they kept the age difference the same in the drama. Did they ever showed SE's age in the drama? I don't remember it.

I think they couldn't announce Heejoo, because they already announced he was marrying Inha and Inha just dissappeared right before the wedding. So, they can't just say to people, he was engaged with the older sister but now he is marrying the younger sister.

Everyone already knows the identity of his wife as Inha, But she is not a celebrity or anything. Sure, they can think it is weird that she doesn't attend official events; but I don't think the journalists would go as far to investigate it as it is the private life of a commoner. Plus, Inha's father is a big name in media and it would be so easy for him to stop the news even if some journalist try to investigate. Maybe some already tried to but her father or Baek Saeon blocked them who knows.

I like the couple too but how is this making you delulu lol? He literary doesn't answer the question to pick her. And no man would ask another man to choose between his gf/the girl he likes and some other girl. If anything, this clip just ended all my delulu dreams.

1. It is not revealed yet how she can hear. I'm not sure if they revealed how they are related in the drama yet but Hejoo's mother married Inha's father when they were children.

2. The kidnapper already knows their marriage and family circumstances. And Hejoo's hearing situation is not classified information, nothing would happen if people finds out, so no reason the hide it. That's why BSE is trying to encourage her to speak. One possible reason why he said that to the kidnapper might be because previously 406 told him that the reason he/she wants BSE to divorce HHJ is because so that HIA can have a place to return. So since 406 wants HHJ to be divorced for HIA's sake, maybe that's why BSE thought 406 might know something about HHJ acting like a mute for HIA's sake as well.

Also sfl stealing fl's phone just so ml cannot take her home doesn't make sense at all. I mean, they were not going to be in the car alone, sml was also gonna be there and they live together anyway so why would sfl go so far to stop them from sharing the ride?

If she worried that fl can see her with her phone in her hand she could just say oh sorry, seok jiwon was calling so I picked it up or something like that. Fl is so dumb she wouldn't suspect anything anyway.

I love this drama because I love both FL and ML actors and the actors that play their younger versions but I'm not sure if this would be watchable if they had different actors. It is very draggy and it feels like nothing is happenning even though we are already at ep 6.

Also, I don't like FL's character at all. She acts too terrible to him and has no reason to. She was the one who told him not to contact her afterall. The relationship feels too onesided. ML is more mature and honestly deserves someone better than her. But this is a kdrama and we have to turn a blind eye to how bad fl is I guess.

Is there a lot of romance in Flower of Evil like this one?

For example, I feel like Perfect Marriage Revenge is quite similar to this one. But there is not a lot of romance in that one, it is more focused on family issues whereas this one is like 100% focused on romance.
