I see a lot of people are wishing it was someone other than Up. Who do y'all have in mind that would have been…
I won't say Up was bad in this. I would say it's UpPoom pairing that didn't work quite well in this series. Maybe they need a bit more exposure to each other for the chemistry to really shine. They're not a bad pairing but they're also not that great. It's weird fr idk how to describe it
someone tell me. How is this one? is this enough to compensate for the amount of disappointment we had last year in cdrama land? Can I go back now? will I be happy? ππ
just finished this and ok so here it goes. I feel like there's not much to say about this but there's also a lot…
As I was writing, I realized I do have a lot to say ππ
Ming's "devastation" when Joe died was disappointing. the amount of emotion expressed was not really enough to compensate for the tragic end that Joe got
I also feel like we didn't really see much about Joe's internal struggle of being forgotten after the body switch thing. it added to the list of things that made this series mediocre.
I don't watch uncut often but the bed scenes here are uncomfortable to watch, mind you, i watched KP and BF and i didn't feel this uncomfortable. the bed scenes are just that, Sex and nothing more. now that I think about it, that's probably where I saw the awkwardness π«£. even Step-by-Step Manben was not this awkward and those two clearly draw the line and literally said they're just co-workers π
One thing I want to thank this series for is that it gave me a glimpse on how the entertainment industry works in Thailand. like how being the investor or being connected to any powerful people changes the whole power dynamics of a drama/movie. It gave me an idea on how to read between the lines and who to blame if something ever happens
just finished this and ok so here it goes. I feel like there's not much to say about this but there's also a lot π
plot - storyline is good, could have done better but this one's not so bad. the only problem is there's not much depth in it.
Characters Joe's death and the events that led to that death we're not discuss much and it felt like the scriptwriter hoped that the audience will just forget about it. Ming is a crazy ass jerk who deserved all that heartache and Joe was soft, real soft and didn't really got mad with Ming. he's more of mad on himself for loving the crazy ass jerk. There's no redemption for Tong, I skipped over his apology scene cause it didn't feel genuine. He's sly and greedy. the only thing I like about him is he genuinely love his wife. the ending is bit of a stretch for me. kinda like a wishful ending for everyone to be happy. the parents accepted the choices of their children because the only alternative is death but then we really didn't have any context on the family's perspective so I can't really say anything bad about that
Actors For some reason, I was not that happy with Up's performance I don't know why fr. is it the acting? Not really, he was good. was he able to play the character? Yes definitely but is it exceptional? no not really. Ming's character is quite complex and it's not that he didn't do well but I feel like he barely scratched the surface . Poom is a babe, idk how he's masculine but also soft like what? π UpPoom does have positive chemistry but there's something awkward about them. maybe because this is their first project together? I feel like one of them wasn't comfortable with the role during the shooting and it somehow shows (not gonna mention who, try to figure it out ys π)
All in all, this is a good watch, not too heavy but not too shallow either. just enough to binge. I'll give it an 8.5. 7-8 rating is low but not enough to get a 9
Ep 3 - Minnggggggg!!! I better see you devastated when Joe died
Ep 5-6 Tong is an asshole. Ming is the biggest jerk ever. Everyone deserves a friend like Wut and Sol and Jim is another asshole for leaving Joe with drunk Ming on his own as if saying I don't wanna get involve, sort it out on your own
So I got so bored I decided to watch this when I saw the poster. I'm gonna record my journey here
Ep 1 - Joooeeeeeee I beg you don't do this to your self T_T EP 2 - Joooeeeeee the heck I wanna cry fr T_T . I can decide what flag ming is at the moment
It's getting clear that Psycho is the real BSE base on how the parents reacted to the description. Something in Sang woo switched. He's getting into the top of my "suspicious" list while PDJ went down below and now I have another theory to hold onto for another week.
- JSW is the twin - that's why he's investigating the orphan case - Psycho is involve in the Hong siblings car accident. That's why Chairman Paik (Grandfather) "kneeled" in front of Hee Joo's stepfather. That's also the reason why he got that agreement thing that allowed In-a to escape the marriage -
I have a new theory as well:PDJ is the real BSEπ the drama's just making us look at the kidnapper as the real…
that JSW scene was what made me feel sus. I'm like π§ why are being focused like that?? the details of their wedding is too private so I feel like someone from the family is involved as well. remember, In-a received a document re BSE and she said she wants to help HeeJoo and kidnapper "goal" is the same as well.
OMG I have a new theory; PDJ and Pscyho are the twins and PDJ pushed Hee Joo. I feel like In-a is somehow involve as well. I'm also seeing Sangwoo as sus
Youβre right; she needs to come clean to Sa Eon, for sure. Itβs time. They need to unite and fight the crazies…
she should have confessed the moment her Father got kidnapped or right after she got trapped in her car the second time. at the time I was like girl why ask for divorce when you're in a life threatening situation? ask for protection
Heejoo seriously need to be smart cause gurl you need help. the enemy is way too close to still hide this to sa eon. atleast inform him about the car being rigged or something. she needs to think about safety first before divorce
I find Sa Eon's mother and Heejoo's step father sus. i feel like one of them is the "Master" psycho mentioned. I'm still 50/50 about Park Do Jae, we will need to see who the remaining twin will be.
theory #1 - psycho and Sa Eon are the twins from the orphanage and psycho was mad at Sa Eon for living a "good life" while he lives in what looks like a trailer
theory #2 - psycho is the remaining twin and he hates the real Sa Eon cause he k*lled his twin
theory #3 - Our Sa Eon and PDJ are the twins. psycho is the real Sa Eon being supported by either his mother or Heejoo's step father
I'm fixated, the heck. a week of wait is too long for one episode π₯²
Im also bored with scenario where FL & ML were used to be class mates in the past. Its a damn boring and repeated…
exactly, there's like atleast 10 per year. There's nothing wrong with the theme but I mean common, it's way too cliche that I won't watch this type of story even if I want to watch a no brainer drama
You are smart to stop watching. I watched in between watching something else. I put it on hold several times but…
Probably because of his comment when FL said she's going to start doing business. It gives the idea that he doesn't really support her decision but is just following along with what she wants to do which can rub some people the wrong way. This is modern drama not fantasy and his reaction is as realistic as it can be tbh.
Ji Xing is stubborn and prideful which is not a very good combination for someone who wants to try something new. Esp when all she knew what to do is to program. She have no experience in management nor leadership skills. Honestly, i can go on and on after just watching 2 episodes but I'll just let it go cause ugh xu kai why did you pick this script??
I haven't watch rising with the wind and tbh i wanna take a pause coz there's nothing in cdrama land this year. I ended up being disappointed in most of the dramas I've watched so far even the ones I have on my watchlist. Idk maybe it's just me π€§π€§π€§
Don't mind me, I'm a lunatic and a masochist π€§
I'm desperate so please tell me πππ₯²
