Wait what is the couple name for Hyeyoon and Wooseok? We keep referring to them as Soljae/Solseon even if we arenât talking about their characters. Iâm not shipping them but donât all the actors acting as a couple have a couple nameđ«Ł
4.183% average viewership rating in Korea? 5.762% is the maximum. Doesn't correspond well with the 9,2 rating…
Hey I understand everyone might have different preferences and I totally respect that. I get it this drama was a 8 for you. You think it is overrated. Fine but there are many viewers who would disagree with that. It is just their opinion. Although it is completely your choice but I just donât understand why would you be camping in the comment section of this drama if you found it mid and overrated. Like it wasnât upto your taste, I get it, so you can move on. Instead you have been constantly commenting negatively and ruining others experiences and judging others for liking this drama.
The villain did not have much role from the very beginning. He literally had two dialogues throughout the whole…
Also the point about Detective Kim listening to Sol. It was because Sol was the only witness he had. She provided him with clues and even though sometimes he couldnât understand her, he just trusted his gut. His instinct always told him to protect her. The plot was never supposed to be complicated. Providing the villainâs backstory would not only complicate the story but would also shift the focus from the main point which is fate and destiny. There was never any reason behind his actions hence, even in the current timeline he would have killed Seonjae if Taesung did not intervene.

I understand your point. But in the real world, serial killers ofter do not have a reason (some do) but majority are just psychos. This drama was all about fate and destiny. The taxi driver was fated to kill Seonjae but Sol unfortunately became a factor between them. Even when Sol did not meet the taxi driver in the current timeline, he still was going to kill Seonjae if Taesung hadnât intervened. From the very beginning the only role of the taxi driver was to kill Seonjae but it was portrayed in a complicated way where we were led to believe Sol is responsible but in reality it was fate.
While on the other hand, Soljae were destined for each other. The drama revolves around them and every single support character was added as a plot device to move the plot forward. Even Taesungâs purpose was to prevent Seonjaeâs death rather than being the sml. All these were subtly hinted at in the last episode.
This story was always a simple story to portray unconditional love, a love that knows no bounds, a destined love.
and the villain why is no one talking about it ? -- like they build up so well TO DO THIS !!! man so so so disappointing…
The villain did not have much role from the very beginning. He literally had two dialogues throughout the whole show. The taxi driver was a psycho serial killer who just wanted to kill people. Sol was unfortunately his victim. And when she got away, he got fixated on her and wanted to kill her. But Seonjae always interrupted his plans and sent him to jail so, he wanted revenge from Seonjae. Thatâs it. The drama was never focused on the villainâs motive from the beginning. It was always about Soljae and the villain is just a plot device. In the end, Taesungâs dad clearly mentioned the taxi driverâs intention, i.e., he was just a bad guy.
So we saw in the bts video of ep 16, how bwsâs crying scene with halmonie was not scripted right? I think he might be missing his grandma and when halmonie said he can now live a long life with his love, he became emotional. Itâs just a thought I had. Even the way he was hugging halmonie with his teary eyes spoke volumes.

I was invested in this drama from ep 1. Hyeyoonâs acting just caught my attention and then ep 2, locked me in. But it can be different for everyone. So, my honest advice would be give it a try atleast. Because this truly is a masterpiece which bought many OG kdrama lovers back to the kdrama worldđ€©
