It was kinda like a future glimpse. So they eventually do get married but what we saw was just a glimpse of the future.

Seonjae did not commit suicide, he was killed.
The taxi driver is just a psycho serial killer and unfortunately Sol became his victim. When Sol got away he got fixated on killing her. Seonjae interrupted his plans and sent him to jail so, the taxi driver killed Seonjae for revenge.

Okay now that the drama has ended can someone please tell me what in the world is their role. I still haven't figured it out.
Han Jong Kyu, honestly I have given up on him, he has been on the cast list since ep 1 and I have zero clues about him.
Kim Seon Gyeong, she was added recently, but I'm still clueless about her role.
If someone could clarify I would be really grateful especially for Han Jong Kyu, he is giving me a headache since forever.

I need to ask how accurate is your gut feeling? I truly do not ship drama couples but seeing knetz shipping them made me break my rule. I shouldn't have gone down this path. Now I don't think there is a way back anymore so, I am stuck now.

The purpose of the second couple is for providing comic relief. They don't have much of a purpose except for that. In this drama, the support cast does not have much of a purpose, it is solely focused on the main couple. The support cast is only added to move the plot forward.

I really hope we get a really long bts video tomorrow fr. It should involve moments with every cast member. They didn't show us the bts of ep 11 where the families found out they were dating so, I am hoping this time, they do give us bts of the family meet. I hope it is very long , 30 mins of ep 15 and 30 mins of ep 16.

I finally completed watching it. YES, I literally rewatched so many scenes, then took a break so that I can view the comments here and the tweets in twitter. Truth is I honestly did not want it to end so I was delaying it but oh well, it is over now.
What an amazing drama and the last episode was just beautiful. I truly cannot pick a favorite scene from this episode however the scene where Seonjae cried with Halmonie made me tear up as well.
Everything was just PERFECT.

From my understanding, when Halmoni said that Seonjae can now live a long life with Sol, it actually hit him hard. This Seonjae also possesses his memories from the OG timeline where he couldn't even imagine Sol could possibly like him.
So, I guess it hit him that he can finally have his happy ending with Sol.

I hope so too but Qot would also be there. I don't know on what basis the awards are given by I do think Lovely Runner deserves all of it.

I have never compared qot and lr, but this time I think I need to. Whole drama aside, I will only talk about the last episode. What an episode we had for lovely runner just amazing. The taxi driver plot was solved in the first 5 mins and we got all the fluff , proposal, marriage glimpse, just perfect. While on the other hand, in Qot , they dragged the villain plot for more than half the last episode, we got a 10 min happy ending ig. But this wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the ending, like who cares what happens in the next 80 years. I was truly disappointed.
Again I am not comparing the dramas because both have completely different genres but I am only comparing the last episode. This is how you do the ending. THIS IS WHAT WE WANTED.
AND LOVELY RUNNER TRULY DELIVERED.
