That I think might not be him. Sol’s accident was caused by the taxi driver.

In the past when Sol fell into the water she was wearing a school uniform and her face had cuts. So her falling into the water and her being hit by the car are definitely on the same day. Maybe after getting hit by the taxi, she fell in the water.
But in this timeline they haven’t reached the date of her accident yet, maybe it will be repeated.

What if the original timeline Sol was dating Taesung but in that timeline Taesung really didn’t care about her (as we can see he is clearly more interested in the older Sol) and she was kidnapped because of him.
A comment below stated a theory that Sol might have been kidnapped and held hostage by the taxi driver. What if it was due to Taesung’s negligence and then Taesung and Sunjae both tried finding her.
Maybe Taesung was indeed seriously injured saving her or he felt extreme guilt for her condition and had the fight which resulted in him getting expelled. Taesung was ashamed of himself and never contacted Sol. And Sol probably lost her memories because of the trauma.

Also there is another theory that it was Taesung’s dad who was investigating The Juyang Reservoir murder case so what if Sol was targeted because she was Taesung’s girlfriend.

Damn your theory kinda seems plausible but I hope even if it was an accident, In Hyuk should not be the one to be involved😭 I’m loving their bond and I think they have just grown apart but they could definitely make it work if they had more time.
I think Sunjae might have kept tabs on Im Sol. Like how did In Hyuk know her number in the present or was her number the same?
Also maybe Sunjae knew Im Sol would also be in the concert hence he sang that song for her(also a theory since it was probably because it was his last performance)
Sunjae has suffered the most. We still don’t know the whole scenario of the accident so we don’t know what does Sunjae really feels guilty about?
There are so many characters and everyone seems suspicious. Also everyone has their own story like what happened to Taesung?

For real SJ is such an angel and he has suffered so much. It just breaks my heart.
The taxi driver theory turned out to be accurate but I don’t think he might have a link to SJ’s death. I did think that the taxi driver might have been released from prison and wanted revenge but after today’s episode, the manager seems suspicious. I really think he is responsible for SJ’s death.
No matter what changes is the past Sunjae will suffer because Im Sol will return back to her original timeline and the past her will not remember him😭😭😭

naah fr even I was like either remove the watch when you are in the past or just put it on Sunjae.

Being the loser that I am, I couldn't stop myself from watching ep 4. And damn we are geniuses. We had already guessed half the plot with our theories. I love mdl and twitter for this.
The theories that were correct:
1. Sunjae saved Im Sol
2. Sunjae recognized Im Sol on that bridge.
3. Sunjae called Im Sol on purpose.
4. The watch was showing her the number of opportunities she has to travel to the past.
5. Tae sung asked Im Sol to get rid of that girl (he might even kinda like the older Im Sol)
6. Im Sol did change the future even if it wasn't big but still a change.
7. SUNJAE WAS MURDERED. I was conflicted in this but after ep 4, I am certain he didn't kill himself. My guess is the MANAGER.
8. And finally, THE JUYANG MURDER CASE- TAXI DRIVER is involved in Sol's accident.

A time called you was truly confusing . But after sometime you just have to accept it and move on. It was kinda like a loop. This on the other hand is not, even though it has certain similarities.

yeah I did and I have to say, the drama is doing quite well. They have balanced the romcom and angst perfectly. The mystery also adds well to the whole scenario.

I can’t. I can’t bring myself to watch ep4. It has been released but I don’t think I am prepared for it. I know the spoiler and this time I am not ready to see his PoV. I really want Sunjae to have lots of happy moments but no matter what his heart will break everytime Sol will go back to the future.
He deserves the world. RYU SUNJAE DESERVES THE WORLD😭😭😭
