I think he’s good at acting. He doesn’t make me feel like he’s “acting”. Idk why but there are some actors who when I watch them, I can tell that they’re acting. They’re handsome and all, but it just makes me lose interest. But Liu Yu Ning is captivating to watch on screen for sure

Because his scenes after coming back to Bianzhou were so short, not to mention we barely see him... he’s like a side character even though he’s billed as main cast. Even after coming back for the last episodes, he’s not getting enough screen time. Even WL (no hate to him, I love him) got more screentime

On ep 36 now, i knew liu Yan was a psychopathic idiot. Im not gonna talk abojt him bejng evil. But he has no political talent, he shot himself in the foot by kilking the uncle, hes like a spoiled child with political power, acting by emotion. Reckless no strategy. No patient

Exactly. For example, in Journey to Love, it sort of had some emotional background to kill off the side characters. Like their lives were pretty sad (if I remember it correctly) . But WL is like the most lighthearted dude in the drama lol

Different people different rating system I guess. If my affection and engagement for a drama and the characters remain the same until the end. Then I rate it 10, even though I know well it’s not perfect. For example, many people rated WLGYT highly, but personally for me. I had to skip some scenes
