I’ve watched too many C-dramas that I’ve grown numb. But this drama got me obsessed because of the characters. Last drama that did this for me was Mysterious Lotus Casebook

I’m glad this drama didn’t go into the “third person comes between the main couple” direction . That trope ruined Princess Weiyoung and Prince of Lan Ling for me.

Why not drop 2 episodes at once per week? Why make us wait for the next day 😭

Who is Zang Hai descendants in the novel ?

I think it’s his hairstyles in costume drama. He has a pretty sharp and kind of long face so the pony-tail like hairstyles emphasizes his long features even more. But outside of costume dramas, he looks very good

My guess is the benefactor in the masked is actually someone from Dong Xia using ZH to get the Gui Seal and to kill his enemies in the Yong state.

Isn’t it dangerous for ZH to openly interact with his senior and friend? I feel like someone could trace his background using that connection
