So, the novel isn't about rebirth story.

I’m so puzzled by the Lu family’s behavior. At the end of the day, Wei Rao is the Wei family’s daughter. Her mother is Lady Li, the Emperor’s favorite consort, and she herself holds the title of Noble Lady Wu’an. So how is she not good enough? No one is more noble than her (except, of course, the princesses). Just because she used to be a night-soil collector and had a difficult upbringing, they look down on her? I’m honestly so disappointed in the Lu family, especially her mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law, considering everything she has done for them.

Also, I LOVED today's episode so much! 💕💕 I don't think Jundai is dead. Even if she is, I can understand why the writers might choose to kill her off. Her character has served its purpose in the plot, and she would probably continue behaving the same way cruel, short-tempered, and foolish. Her actions would eventually become repetitive, and the audience might get bored. However, I wouldn't mind seeing Guo Yufeng make a comeback! She's one hell of a villain cunning, scheming, and calm-headed. I absolutely love this kind of villain! 😭❤️

I also hope they don't drag out the leads' separation for too long, especially since they didn't drag out the reveal of Wei Rao's identity until the very end.

This drama is getting more and more exciting with every episode! 🤩🤩 Why does it have only 30 episodes?? 😭😭😭 I WANT MORE! But at the same time, I'm scared because C-dramas are notorious for messing up the last few episodes. 🥲

What do you guys think about the Lu family's decision, the leads' separation, and Jundai's possible death?

Loving Tian Xi Wei as Wei Rao & Jun Dai. The way she act though her eyes, you can clearly distinguish when she is playing Wei Rao & when Jun Dai pretending to be Wei Rao.

So true! He never seemed to care about her background. He always had his doubts about her, but now he can finally put them to rest and start developing feelings for her. Can't wait for upcoming episodes. 🤩🤩🤩

Finally, a proper red-flag ML! Every time I watch a series with a red-flag ML, there’s always some tragic backstory or reason to justify why he’s the way he is. I’m so fed up with that “red flag with a cause” trope. I’ve had enough of it!

At last, we have Yu Chang Xuan, a red-flag ML who doesn’t need a reason or tragic backstory to be the way he is. He’s just naturally like that. 😭

I’m not really enjoying the plot, but I absolutely LOVE Cheng Lei’s portrayal of Yu Chang Xuan. He’s killing it in this role!. 💕😍

I read that in the novel Yu Chang Xuan choose marriage of convenient. And also Tao Zi Yi get married to his friend? 🤔🤔🤔

Actually, I prefer watching ongoing series as I have a job & can’t binge-watch them all at once. I have a really bad habit of finishing completed series within 3 days. If it’s a 12/16 eps series, I’ll finish it in 2 days. 😂

Merciless & calculative minister that sounds interesting. However, CDramas are famous for messing things up at the end.

How's it? Every time I want to watch Xu Kai series for some reason I never end up watching it. So, I want to try his ongoing drama, is it worth it?

I just saw the latest trailer. Is it a reborn story? It also have fantasy elements, which looks quit interesting 😍😍

I find Li Bo Ze really suspicious. Everything he does feels so calculated and intentional, just like Ren Su Su pointed out. I honestly hope Hai Tang Qing is right about him just being an innocent puppy. But at this point, he almost seems too good to be innocent.

Isn't this how a politician or ruler should be a player, ruthless, calculative. From beginning I though that Li Mao will a villain. One of the best thing about the last few episodes was they made me really believe that Li Mao really want to kill Xie Wuyi also that he had no plan or strategies left to save his family. While he is always one step ahead of his rivals.

Finally, a drama where they really shown why Male Lead is most feared general & why everyone wants to kill him. I loved how detailed war sequence were. I always want to see fighting sequence in war however, in C-Dramas it rarely shown.

Does Xiao Huayong ever wanted revenge from the Emperor or it for greater good kind of revenge thing in the novel?

Is it adaptation of a novel or original script?

To the novel readers: did Xiao Chang Qing react the same way in the novel as shown in the Ep 10 preview when he began suspecting that Shen Xi He was actually Gu Qing Zhi?

Also, doesn't Xiao Chang Qing hate the Emperor because he was responsible for the Gu family's massacre and is therefore determined to destroy him? And isn't he the Emperor's most favored son rather than the Crown Prince?

Lastly, I heard that at some point in the novel, even the Crown Prince wanted revenge against the Emperor. He eventually join forces with Xiao Chang Qing as well.

Why did she do that?

Should I start watching it? I've seen a few clips of Zhou Ke Yu and I have to say, he looks incredibly hot 😍😍😍🫣🫣. And Bao Shang En is as cute as ever 🥰🥰.

First of all, I don't have any issue with an adopted brother-sister romance, so that's not a concern for me. What I really want to know is: how is the plot so far? Do the leads have good chemistry? Is there a love triangle?

Then again, C-dramas have a habit of starting off really strong only to go downhill later, so I'm a bit hesitant. For those who are watching it, is it worth starting
