Honestly, I don't like culinary concept story. An article said that FL & ML will join forces to protect their land. How an imperial chef relying on their skills will save their land, that's my question? How it will align with the plot. Though it also mention that FL has medical knowledge as well.

I'm so scared for this drama. I hope the writer & director doesn't disappoint our expectation. They doesn't mess up the plot. Also in director drama list there aren't any popular or decent drama. I just hope it turn out to be decent.
Loved the cinematography. The way every scene was shot & edited is soo eye catching & pleasing to watch. Loved how snow falls as well as snow surrounding everywhere is so beautifully shown. I don't know how to describe but every scene is picturize so beautifully. I love Zeng Qing Jie directed dramas, he has given some beautiful & best mini-dramas. So, I have quite a high expectation. Then again, too much expectation can lead to disappointed as it's C-Drama they best at unnecessary misunderstanding & dragging. I hope he will prove me wrong.
Moreover, I am loving Fan Chang Yu so much. She is cute, brave & funny all in one. As for Xie Zheng, I feel more dark side and also cunning, scheming to his character. We will know more to his character in upcoming episode. Zhang Ling He my favorite is as always handsome and breathtaking. Tian Xi Wei is looking so beautiful cute, she is giving such an innocent vibe however her character is quite strong. However, I feel he maybe have killed Fan Chang Yu's parents. I maybe wrong. There was a scene where he stab a mask man mistakenly. Perhaps someone else did it but he will be blame let's see.
I don't get it why the hell people are complaining so much about so many character introduction. Is this the first time you guys are watching C-Dramas. C-Dramas are famous for introducing many characters specially in Wuxia, Xianxia & Xuanhuan. In this kind of dramas there are many sect, realms and worlds. Hence, introduction of many characters. I can name many C-Dramas name where I can't even remember what the cast role was, however the dramas where massive hit. So, the complain is literally pointless. And about the editing honestly, I don't see any issue in that, but yeah the CGI would have been better. Moreover, the aesthetic visual of the drama is so smoothing & eye catching.
The Emperor & Consort Cui look suspicious to me. They are actually faking their love towards FL. They are definitely the mastermind of Prince Duan & his family massacre.

I am going to vent out my frustration about Zhuang Xu. Who fuck does he think of himself!😑😣😡😡 Is he a king or prince that a girl should wait for him forever. 1st of all, Nie Xi Guang confess her feels to him, he rejected. Now she doesn't even have the right to move on. He didn't told her to wait for him nor said that after having a successful career he will be with her. She also said that she will win his heart. However, he never clarify the rumor about him & green tea bitch. So, it's obvious that she moved on. That audacity of him to get angry with her. I am on episode 12, after watching his talking to her like that, I felt like beating him up into pieces. Nie Xi Guang has every right to move on. Also, why fuck she didn't give him a slap. If I where in her place I would have give him one.
