Boys over Flowers k-drama remake coming soon starring Cha Jung Woo as Goo Joon Pyo, Kim Jun Seo as Yoon Ji Hoo,…
I would love for every straight series to get a gay version, it doesn't need to be the exact same story but heavily inspired, it is not the same the other way around bc we have so many straight stories and not enough gay ones. And many gay stories have been straightwashed, so it is only reparation.
Very bold of you to say that it doesn't have character development when you watched 10 episodes out of 50, if you really did watch 10 episodes, because it sounds like your were more concerned with the CGI than the storytelling, also not their fault you can't read since the characters introductions were such a pain for you.
Most of the actors were in fact amateurs and that is why it is so amazing what they managed to do with not much experience and support. Now Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan are two of the most popular actors in China, Yibo has starred in a movie with Tony Leung, an internationally recognized actor and is praised for his works while Xiao Zhan was chosen to represent his country in many important dramas.
You are probably unable to consume any story that requires the ability to analyse the content without having everything spelled out for you with exposition after exposition. The story was way more than "cute" boys glancing at each other but you don't know that because you were waiting for an easy to digest romance like the ones you are used to. And there is nothing wrong with prefering cheesy jdramas but you had to belittle the people that did like the The Untamed and compare them to vapid tennagers when you are the one writing like a high schooler.
