I'm on epi 5 already and they are engaged. I'm in love with this one, not so much One and Only because it just made me cry through so much of it, it was so sad.

Thank you so much. I'm on epi 5 and I understand exactly what you mean. I see Shiyi as a strong independent career woman who wouldn't normally jump into an engagement, so I never would have understood why she did it without seeing One on One. It made perfect sense that she would now. EDIT: I just finished Forever and Ever and it really is so necessary to see One and Only first. There are so many scenes that would be overlooked in Forever if you haven't seen One and Only, so many great moments that would either leave you scratching your head, or not even giving them a thought. The music in Forever is so beautiful, that alone should make you want to watch. Thank you for the in depth discussion, I will go to that now.

epi 16 and the evil empress has laid down the edict that Shi Yi marry the sickly prince and the sickly prince wants her no matter what...please, someone give me spoilers, how does she end up back with Sheng Chen and I've missed something along the way, why would he not want to marry? Especially when they love each other.

this really surprised me. I figured it was going to be a comedy, I didn't figure on the drama. Like you, I loved the whole thing. Nothing is funnier than Wookie's facial expressions when he's surprised, etc. This is definitely one I'll keep on my list to watch again.

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first like I normally do. this was a short watch, so I figured what would I be losing. I have to disagree with a huge majority of the reviews. I enjoyed it. My thing is when you know you know and they knew right after meeting each other. I thought it was sweet that he realized at middle age that he needed to change the way he acted and not keep things to himself. I thought they had great chemistry and I'm glad I watched, I don't care what anyone elses opinion of it is or was.

LOL - my grandparents got married on their 3rd date, they were married for almost 70 years.

picked it up again after a year. Nobody plays the Broody Rich Guy better than Zhang Han. I'm glad I did.

this was one I watched when I just started watching cdramas and had really fallen in love with Zhang Han. I decided to check it out again because it had been almost a year since the first time. I kept asking myself, why in the world did she take any advice from the cousin/sister whose mother was pushing her into a marriage with a man she herself knew was a multiple cheater. Just love it when the cousin tells her she needs to know when to quit, all the while continuing with her relationship with the man who drops his zipper every change he gets and she knows it. Her self-talk sort of drove me crazy, but then I also had to remind myself that this was a girl from a small town with parents, although loving protected her from life basically and she had no self-confidence at all. I'm waiting for the ending when she gets that confidence and doesn't listen to their advice.

someone suggested I check this out because I'm a huge fan of Dating in the Kitchen. Just started it, we'll see if I'm as big a fan of this as I am of DITK.

is there any cdramas that the FL has a friend who is an adult, but isn't a childish stalker. I have to fast forward through her scene, it's so cringy, I just want to smack her and tell her to grow up.

I started watching this again because I just love the cast, but I just cannot stand the way the parents and grandparents are involved and push the children into forced marriages. I guess I should have figured that out by the title, but I can't deal with it at all. Can't stand the whole status thing right now, so will walk away for the 2nd time, figuring it will never get better because this is the type of drama it is.

Wow, It's close to the end, I couldn't tell you exactly, but she starts out knowing, then the other alien brainwashes her and it takes several epi from them for her to remember.

did anyone else have an issue with watching it on Netflix? the sound keeps dropping and the video stops, but then you can see the cc as if the show is still playing. Honestly, Netflix is the worst to watch these shows on IMO.
