I have been watching it slowly since I finished Call it Love, it's really good too. I had checked the MLs entire drama list after CIL and saw he is puppyish in most of his series. Which is supremely cute because it's a contrast to his tall physique.

I'm happy to receive such a positive response lol. As for sequel over the top of my head I can remember the highlighting MLs supposed fighting potential (to be honed by FL later) and FLs comment about more enemies coming after them, the most prominent sequel hints. It's a shame it didn't get one but I'm still very satisfied with the ending we did get.

I think they were clearly aiming for a sequel so it has that open ending. So in the absence of one we could assume that they died but they might not have. If it had been a dream sequence then the lightening would have been different as it were like it was in the other dream sequences. But they really were hallucinating bout the snow and stuff.
