Anyway my final take is that while it wasn't groundbreaking, the story was intriguing and well constructed enough and I would love if we could get a Korean adaption taking the basic plot and improving on every other factor. I would especially like more of a look into Jin's character mind as he almost came across as an incel fanatic physco with his response to Non affair with teacher as if Non owed him anything in romantic sense. But he was clearly sensible and generally decent person otherwise. Then again someone rightly said his actions explain how he was friends with and blend in such a messed up group easily.
My take on White's situation was that his fears were normal teenage stuff -fear that his bf didn't trust him because…
I had that impression at one point too but if it was to show his innocense it should've been more obvious like what was the std. But yes it was either this or that he cheated or more like thought of cheating only or just felt attraction to others like normal teens and felt guilty for it which makes him quite innocent in comparison anyway.
Also don’t kill innocent ppl in the name of revenge
I don't know if that was the moral given that New died in peace and was even thanked for his revenge efforts at the end (as he should've been I am with New I don't even care lol)
And also don't be a silent bystander, not to the degree Fluke was at least.
Well I agree with you and even think Fluke's ending was needlessly harsh given he was not directly involved as he kept saying (which was his sin). But he could have done something, like at least be kind to Non like Jin was in the name of humanity if nothing else.
Basically rather than blaming Fluke (tbh I saw a bit of myself in Fluke and Jin both but thankfully I managed to grow out of that cowardly and selfish stage before I passed middle school) I was talking more on the moral of the story that I think the writers were going for, for the youth to get a grip and have some conscious so tragedies like Non can be avoided.
I am still not buying the fact that Phee Killed New to save Tee... !!!He could have shot him somewhere , maybe…
It wasn't exactly him killing to save Tee but a culmination of the desperation to stop the madness that New was havocking despite Phee's multiple pleas to stop. He never wanted New to go that far. I did love how he said sorry before that though and how he was hurting for Tan even when he shot him.
The teacher definitely died right after he was captured (the uncle only allowed Non to work in the casino because…
An episode of Dr. Romantic where a young guy died of beatings from his bullies due to internal injuries was an eye opener for me. Otherwise we usually just see heroes taking damage upon damage as if nothing.
Everyone was making excuses or defending Jin last week..well this week we finally got the definite answer Jin…
There is no excuse left for what he did. I was hoping he somehow will turn out to be less culprit than what he was last episode too like hoping Fluke uploaded the video, but it wasn't because I liked Jin or anything but because he was one of the MC and why on gods green earth would they give us an MC so rotten, for what purpose like am I supposed to root for him just because he got into a relationship with Phee? Why was he MC?

I think Non really died just like how it was shown, which makes it all the more horrific because a healthy teen was beaten and basically tortured through labour to an extend that his body just gave up. If the gang had not beaten him bloody before he may have survived all that, pretty sure he had internal injuries and bleeding.
True tbh. Jin is one the characters whom I have hated most in recent times. Someone like him deserves to be in…
I like Phee enough, he really did love Non and tried to help both him and his brother.
He was the only one who held Tan up and was by his side for the next 3 years to come. He ruined his life trying to atone for a supposed crime (breaking up) when Non was the one who made it impossible for him to continue by cheating. Till the end he was very sympathetic and hurting for Tan even when he shot him when he was basically left with no choice. His genuine comradeship with Tan in the wake of Non's disappearance/death melts my heart for any of his supposed wrongdoings.
But yeah he shouldn't have fallen for Jin but then again it was before he knew Jin was one of the main culprits but could he not at least have punched him once, atleast just once come on Phee for our catharsis. But then again I like to think maybe he was so forgiving to Jin because he wasn't to Non before which taught him a lifetime lesson of controlling your emotions, hurt and anger in the wake of others mistakes.
As for Jin be can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. If anything I think he corrupted Phee lol
It's on my ptw as it has many actors that I like but I was afraid of wasting my time if it wasn't good. I guess I'll see it when I'll have nothing better to do then.
Everyone said New/Tan didn't care about his brother, but his hallucinations revealed the depth of his love, driving…
I feel like New died in peace with his brother thanking him and saying he had always helped him. This is the best ending for him given how damaged he had become already. For a moment I was seriously worried that his hallucination will also be Non blaming him but the opposite happened. I'm happy about that
Characters like Jin are the worst .. u pretend to b all nice and sweet to Non in private and the moment ur friends…
To me that wasn't even the problem, people can be weak but with good heart like at least he was trying as much as his courage allowed him to before. But did you see what he really did later? Unfuckinbeleivable, irredeemable. I can not get over the hurt of his betrayal.
