GIRRRLLL IT WAS THE BEST EPISODE: THEY HAD ME SO EMOSH ABOUT JIU'S PAST, PROUD OF HIS CONFIDENCE, AND THE LOVE BW THEM SHONE THE HARDEST EVER. ALSOOO THEY WERE SO FLIRTY AND TOUCHY TODAY, ESPECIALLY JIU HAD ME SO SICKKK

I WANT TO INJECT TODAY'S EPISODE IN MY VEINS IT WAS THAT GOODDDD...from the beginning scenes between Yanlai and Yanfeng to his mother's grave to the scenes he had with Zhao and even after the way she thought of him and took steps to protect her from afar aghhhhh THESE PAST 3 EPIS HAD THE MAGIC OF INITIAL 10 EPIS WHICH WE FELL FOR--SO GLAD THEY BROUGHT IT BACK!!!!

Yeah he tried to poison Yanlai way back and I have been feeling all along that he is somehow the main villian after Xun

exactly, thats so well put but also I do feel Yanfang is a similar kind of manipulator to Xun so I just want my girl with someone who is transparent and honest and sincerely devoted

Why are people shipping Yanfang and Zhao?? Like are we even watching the same show rn? That man is deliciously cunning but also extremely selfish, he will kill or ruin anyone to remain in power or as long as it suits him. He even tried to poison his own brother instead of actually defending him on the charges of fire in Wei village.

Sooo I will be honest, today was the first time I skipped through parts of the episode because they spent too long focusing on the literary meet--would have preferred it to be kept short but it was 15 mins long and even though I understood its significance was to show Zhao empowering other women, it made me antsy cause the preachy monologues were repeated twice and it took away from the intensity of an extremely captivating turn of events.

SOOO WE GETTING THAT LONG REUTERS KISS TOMORROW--THE ONE THAT WAS MINUTE ALONG...hope they dont edit alot and give us the long version

The way Yanlai entered and fiercely laid claim at the end of episode today is everything to me: he really put his life at stake with such confidence and for the first time is really fighting for what he deserves, I feel like a proud mom who saw my kid grow from the yearner in the shadows to the aura farming God in court today!

yess I really am enjoying it and its easy to get obsessed with this one especially when you bingewatching.

its still airing but their tension and chemistry is utterly crazy. The man loves the woman to death and she too falls for him. The lead pairing is why most of us are still hooked and they have utterly ruined me.

Omg! Same--I dont know but am really liking all the characters too-they are all deceptive and cunning and we never know who really is winning because another moment, some other bomb is dropped.
