Xu Kai was adorably cheeky in “Arsenal Military Academy” Ryan Ding was a cheeky brat (a bit too immature though)…
omg thank you so much! AMA and Dali have been on my to watch list, so i guess I'll start on them now haha! Will definitely check out the rest too! Jo Jung Suk roles are always comedy gold, so I think I'll really enjoy that one too! XD
Any recs for dramas where the ML has a similar personality? XD One that comes to mind who I really enjoyed is Zhang WanYi from Are you the one.. hahaha
really? but in the recent ep the grandma seemed super disapproving of the FLs mom (altho i guess this could be due to the mom's choices). And if the mom was the heir, that means only the FL's sisters are next in line... the other sisters technically dont have a blood relation to the grandma? So it would make more sense if the father was the grandma's son noh? hmm hmm
true but since all the sister's share the same father, he was probably the 'heir'? And like you said, the cousin's mother seems to have had a patriarchal marriage instead, so was likely no longer considered to be an heir.
I'm so disappointed.... :(((( its not fair that so many black chefs were eliminated just like that.... they should have at least had 4 winners instead of 2....
Soul swap is garbage - there has never been a good show about this topic - EVER
Highly recommend Branding in Seongsu (kdrama) or The Day of Becoming You (cdrama). Both shows have interesting plots and did the soul swap quite well. Also tbh, every one likes different things, body swap is one of my favourite tropes, so I'm really excited for this!
(just finished ep 1) But will the Shifu/doctor character appear again/be given more backstory? His scenes seemed so abrupt! They didn't even mention how he found her!
I'm on episode 3, but is there a plot reason why they made Cheon Seung Hwi and Seong Yun Gyeom doppelgangers? Couldn't it have been a different actor? or did they want the 'male lead' actor to have more screen time? haha
gahhh slightly annoyed by the last two episodes! i know he's weakened but Kang Cheol just seems to be standing around and not doing anything TwT. just standing when Yeo Ri was caught by the water spirit and why did he look surprised when it got the King too!!! And he needed Yeo Ri to tell him that the water spirit needed to be caught?! And he was standing in freshwater too! Surely that should make him more powerful even in a human body?!
loving the chemistry between the main leads!! but i just finished ep 4, and i'm struggling to find the motivation to continue. just in general, it feels like the characters don't have critical thinking skills! surelyyyy at a certain point, everyone should've realised not the trust the female npc??!! (first door) Did it really have to be explained word for word by RLZ! TwT
this was a good series to binge watch! However, I felt a bit sympathetic to all the women. To me, they were victims of their circumstances, so it didn't feel very satisfiying when YiNing exposed them. If anything, it should have been the men (the father and uncle) who should've been taken down a notch. In comparision, the revenge taken against the 'evil stepmother and stepsisters' in The Double and Blossom was much more satisfying and well deserved karmic retribution.
YiNing and Shenyuan were super cute! but i lowkey actually liked the red-flag obsessiveness of Lu JiaXue hahahHA
While Ye Shi Jie definitely got what he deserved, what could he have realistically done instead? Wouldn't Wan Ning have found and killed all of them if they had all decided to run away? If Ye Shi Jie had truly loved XFF the only thing I can think of would have been for him to commit suicide... In a way, I understand his jealously and frustration towards Xiao Heng, since XH had the protection of his title as Duke.
