I think people could also throw crap at them as well wherever they are seen.In casual conversation it would mean to shame or bully someone.

In medieval times in england it was a punishment where they would cover a person in tar which is a very sticky substance and then throw feathers at them so they would stick. It's very difficult to clean up so they would walk around embarrassed.

Ok I gave up waiting for this scene read the chapters.sounds possible especially if they use their internal monologues we are used to them already.

What I really really want to see from this scene is her face when XZ says "if it hurts too much I can stop"
