i just had a quick run through some mini on iqi "the trial handmaiden". in e08 emperor's poison flares up, close up sooth blocked pores, burst capillaries, the lot... pure AI...scary stuff.

it just sounds like i need everything flawless. after all my brain learned to ignore wrinkles from wigs ( clearly they simply tied a hair bun too tight ) 😂

no doubt available filters will get better and cheaper. soon you wont notice a thing :D

that said although i understand why they defer stuff like that to post production but i prefer if the handled it the old way like makeup artist with a needle and a can of spray paint 😂

I'm not disagreeing about beauty filters per se. They are just easily abused.

i dont mind if it's rare but in historical dramas with all the glue and make up there are some vicious breakouts. then they try to cover it up with some cakey stuff and it starts to look like warts ... actually, in a recent one could be first jasmine, ml had a pimple on the left side of his chin which looked like it was about to burst and they did a close up on his left side almost close up. i just instinctively moved away from the screen ... 😂tough, tough call not sure if seeing pores is worth it.

yeah, but acne is a tad too prominent occasionally.

yeah, im on like completely opposite side :D something sunny, sweet, fluffy and lovely visuals. when i read synopses i thought it will be something like the rise of phoenixes. feels weird to say, what an ingenious move to get 28yo to play 28 yo and a 17yo to play 17yo to get believable vibe for the setup. plenty of good scenes in which no one else would work.

eh, i do that quite often. generally intrigue & political bs is just not my thing. but the couple's chemistry is amazing. if it wasn't for that other crowd i would've missed it. good good.
