I would argue there are SOME good JBLs, but this is not one of them. Dropping during episode 2. Yuck.I put together…
1. the thai version is superficial commercial trash, not catching the charm of the japanese version. if you mean better by production quality and eye-candy, yes, otherwise nope. Jinta be over-acted was really hard to watch.
2. all three installments together made sense.
3. totally disagree. Both shows are very unusual and very well done.

it's not :) it's just awkward especially for western culture...
They are emotional, but there culture tries always to hide it. But even there culture does change. It may be frustrating for you, but it's not for me. If you have grown up in such a culture it's hard to change. I don't agree with "submissive" it's more "protecting themselves".
So, we agree to disagree and I like weired stories :)

they have nice bodies for sure... face is a matter of taste... but that's not even important in a story.

That's boring and there's not even eye candy to help me to get through this.

Am I the only one having fun with this series? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely think this is not a good show,…
at least ists mostly cute.... even if the story and romance leaves a lot to be desired....

1.0 is a bit harsh... it's really not good, but it's not like "Crazy Handsome Rich" which was unbearable to watch (for me).

you rate everything with 1 and give overall 6? that does not make any sense whatsoever.

I did mean exactly what your first sentence says. stupid in the sense that the changed the original material because it was not needed. it's not an all gay story is stupid, but to change the story to be all gay couples is. not a fan of many series where there are many gay couples without focus on the story because of fan-service. language barrier is a bitch :)

Review Jazz for Two
"I don't like that every couple in a BL has to be BL couple... How stupid is that?"it's not stupid. most "straight"…
It is stupid, because it's not reality... Any short BL should concentrate on one couple, with a light story max. two.
But to change the story, so we get a third to explain the suicide is indeed cheap. The also made the father a "bad" character, because it's easier done.

This BL did not much in reveiling of an emotional connections, especially not the connection between a pianist and jazz. It was very superficial. The chemistry between the leads was also not believable. Why I can understand why Tae falls in love, there is nothing on the opposing side. Why does he love him too, how did the connection form? There was nothing.

So, you should take my review in the context of the series. You may have another opinion, but I review as I see it.

Maybe I did not write it in a way, so you could understand, but my point stands. Better a good story

It's a fact that in Japan people are worked 60-80hrs a week easily.
Look at youtube, you will find lots of vlogs. To write you don't like it, is understandable but that's a fact. Also your third point is "strange" because it's part of the story,. If you remove those points the story would be boring and have less impact. The stressful enviroment makes Hiro act like Hiro who can't deceide for himself and lives like a machine day in and day out.

The manga ended where the series endet. So there is no original material where they could show their lives together.

For me it's Japan, Taiwan, Korea in that order. Every country has good shows and medicore ones, but Thailand leads…
I find the japanese guys hotter (weatherman (cute and hot), beautiful man (cute and hot), you know what I mean 😃 Who does need fan service if the story sucks? Both shows were great with fan service btw 🤣 And they do it with style.

They should place product placements in the setting and that's it. Maybe they do overpay the actors, so they need the commercials in the series... no clue.

I do not drop series, watch them all except "Crazy Handsome Rich" which was aweful and "Middleman" I skipped through.
Yes, they have often problems to provide a convincing story. There are gems like "180 Degree Longitude Passes Through U", "Not Me" and from an acting standpoint "Absolute Zero", but the problem are the people consuming the shows. If they like what they see, they won''t get better stuff in the future because it works.

In general Japan and South Korea provide the best dramas overall (also not BL) and there is hope for Taiwan as well :)

Let's chit-chat. Pick only ONE. Who makes the best BLs; Thailand, Japan, China, Taiwan, or S. Korea? ....Why?
For me it's Japan, Taiwan, Korea in that order. Every country has good shows and medicore ones, but Thailand leads with crappy shows as well :) I find more mature stories more interesting, be it "Tokyo in April is", "Personal Weatherman", "My Beautiful Man", "If it's with you", "Kiseki: Dear to Me", "Eight Sense", or the HiStory series much better than most of Thailands productions. Thailand had "180 Degree Longitude Passes Through Us" which is clearly underrated and was expectional and no highschool BS.
If I compare for example "Cherry Magic" 2020 (Japan) vs 2023 (Thailand), the original story is less convoluted, there is no over acting, there are no filler because each epsiode from the remake has double the timeslot and they didn't need an additional hetero couple. The innocence of the "magic" characters is better portrayed in the original story too. Compare especially Jinta vs Tsuge which are day and night and could not be further apart. Is "Cherry Magic (2023)" a bad show? No, it's medicore and imho overrated (8,.1 last I looked, Cherry Magic JP has 8.2).
And another big negative for Thailand Shows: Many are commercials of drinks, snacks and cosmetics, Inbetween you will get a bit of a story which ruins the experience for me a lot.

Let me address one of your concerns. In the novel the ending was clearly explained. The guy in the last scene…
Thx. But I can only review what I see not knowing of the novel at all and that's what it should be for all viewers :) It's the same with manga adaptations, like for example Tokyo in Apri, where things not making sense in the series are 1:1 the same as the manga and not making sense there either. And any adaptation has the choice to correct mistakes, confusion etc and do a satisfying end regardless of budget.
