Yeah. The realisation of JSN was a small but very important thing in the novel. She used to think that everything she was doing is for her son. She realised if her son doesn't survive everything will be meaningless. The last 2 episodes were so rushed.

Yeah. They kept adding useless GRR & FXZ scenes. But, decided to cut down important scenes that added something to the story. There was a scene of FYS and JSN before he explained he can die on the surgery table, and of they can behave like a normal mother and son. I was hoping they won't cut down that scene. I almost cried when FYS begged his mum to take care of Wutong if he dies. Cause he is old, and can't survive if she abandones him. But, they did it anyway.. episode 39 felt rushed.

They have toned down the angst in the show. In the novel, FYS had one of his legs amputated . He had to go in and out of hospital constantly. All of his health improvement was for the rimw being and could relapse at anytime. The angst in the show has been watered down. Episode 38-39 felt so rushed. FXZ, forgiven cause he cried in the car... I mean seriously? Suddenly, he turned into a super caring husband and a loving older bro.. They could do a better job
I am glad they ended up together. However, the ending was a bit disappointed. I couldn't fine one reason to forgive FXZ. He was brought up with all the luxury one could have since he was five. And, why the F he kept blaming his younger brother? Like he was born after the their coward father created all the mess. I am glad FYS and ZJ had a happy ending. I don't even know how FYS has survived.. but, glad he did. Now I have to wait for Hero Legends
